My contractor says it's better to go and take some pictures of their ceilings. I am not too sure of how to approach as neighbor dun seem very friendly.. My next door 3 neighbors had been informed though...

So if everything in the house last 5yrs only, then y should we pay more for better quality etc.. Everyone should juz use the normal range n renovate or sell house lor.. Frankly la.. About 8years- it's only 15litres.. Mine is also 8yrs n 45litres - Ariston n it's doing fine...

PLS BUY ONLY REPUTABLE BRAND FOR WATER HEATER! Let's see what happened to my mum's place! The water heater tank BURST! GOSH!!!

Cement screed walls will definitely hv crack.. So I won't b doing cement screed but juz choose tiles which look alike..

For balcony, I dun think can b approved unless u did a very gd layer of waterproofing? Wonder how u gonna run the water....

So very positive feedback for modern industrial look... I can't do the bathtub in balcony cos I think I will kena sue by the opp block for indecent act! I try to be more realistic in planning as raw look needs very expensive furniture to b classy enough n not too cheap... Going for tiles selection soon!

I finally matched a quotation! N best part is can use own carpenter!!! Still negotiating but finalizing soon. Found my Fren on facebk who juz bought n also gg to renovate her house. Roped her in to nego with contractor! Stay tune for more updates!

I very wary of the D too! They will pretend give quotation in 20mins, then give 1lump sum n promised no additional etc.. Attitude also not too gd.. Came over my place to see for fun n no need measurements de! Like TAT hw to b accurate? Moreover, my layout is so different from original floor plan n they can estimate when I got so much hacking? Best part, no layout plan of what they gonna do but can give quotation! Lastly, like to add 1 meimei wearing skimpily like gg to nite club like tat... Scary to me! Well, juz my very personal experience...

By the way, we r still under going negotiation n I haven confirmed him yet though he seems sincere enough to discuss n show me workmanship similar to my theme...hmmmm

I think I will b going through this route - Carpentry Direct from factory Hacking/Tiling/plumbing/celing/painting/electrical 1 main contractor Doors/windows/glass 1 direct sub con Dunno if gg to b headache but main contractor will b handling bigger responsibilities so should b fine? So far only 2 contractors willing to take up this offer...Wish me luck!

Aircon no need approval to install.. I am going to buy from gain city cos I am really particular over details stated clearly in black and white. For gain city, they send down a guy to view yr site, advise how to run trunkings and then quotation... they send me this Stanley Tan whom I think quite experience. My mum house will b installing system 4 mitsubishi this week while mine will b panasonic next month.. Pm me if u wan his contact or u call gain city directly..

Ok, I KPO today... I walk walk to my next Blk cos I saw Reno notice n went up to peep... The neighbour, a nice young couple invited me in...lol...I asked to snap some pics as it looks good! I will b asking for quote n keeping my fingers crossed! White white kiitchen...I like the clear clean cut carpentry! TV feature wall...I like the laminate!
