Hi Hafiizh, thanks..yah we chose the colors ourselves.. haha.. but we might change the colors eventually to match with the living rm..

yah never hack walls.. Spacious? Haha..We find it rather cramp.. the drawings not 100% accurate.. nope nvr opt for HDB flooring as well, chose our own tiles from the ID appointed contractor.. why headache from the quotes? over budget? maybe can do away from some of the non essential things..

Heres the initial 3D drawings.. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Living RM - The windows are not supposed to be totally full length, and the colour of the floor tiles we chose is slightly different from the one shown in the drawing.. Other than that, we like the feel here a lot.. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Another view of the Living RM - --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kitchen The layout and overall idea is there, but the laminate we chose is different from the drawings.. Instead, my wife chose a pink laminate with 3D feel..a daring decision by us.. Peter was quite shocked initially but agreed that it might turn out to be cute lets hope the final product will turn out nice *prays* --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The other side of the Kitchen --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MBR Might change the wall colour to match the living rm's one..

Greetings Everyone~ Finally took the time to post our reno t-blog.. we got a lot of great ideas/advices ,"lobangs" and recommendations from this wonderful forum and its members..would like to take this opportunity to thanks those who given us help one way or another.. Heres our story, Got our keys on end Feb after close to 2.5 years of waiting.. quite fast we mus say.. Did a research on here, and found our preferred ID weeks later after a few rounds of selection from different firms.. After several meetings with my ID (frm Earnest Interiors) to finalise the design, the selection of tiles etc.. Our reno started today.. Here is our floor plan: Very small huh?

We bought the same aircon system too but we are confused when is the best time to have them installed? before all the renovation works or ? any advice? We also applied to do cement screeding by HDB a few weeks ago..but seems like no news from them Can we know how long did HDB takes to do the cement screeding from the day you applied? Thx ahead...
