It will help quite abit if they are 3 years and above.. did they upgrade to solid surface top for you? usually would do... erh.. 20Ft for bottom only? Ur kitchen looks bit long.. might need to add more if u want to have top cabinets.. but lesser cabinets can save abit.. do ur wife have alot of clothing.. 6ft might not be enuff.. but depends on their design.. hee hee haha i love this part how many colours they will provide u? as many as u want? hee hee.. ask them how many colours they can give u... if i am not wrong, its usually six colours.. maybe 8... more might have to have additional cost.. how many sqft they giving u? $2.50 or $2.00 sqft? ask them for minimum $2.50 sqft.. for the dinning area and living area ask for $3.00 sqft tiles... kitchen cabinet extra 5ft? hmmm how much for additional items did they quote u outside the package? mind sharing? its quite a standard package.. the other rooms u are not going to do much for them? hope it helps abit... sorry was busy until now.. anyway.. good luck.. if going for Gplan - the famous Kelvin

  13. haha i remember some even call me back after 2 months... i totally forgotten those pple or just cancel off the list.. well depends on the ID.. during the CNY period usually quite slow but 2 weeks should be quite ok... more then that just look for others.. good luck in ur search for ID... Hey - GnM where have u been? how is ur CNY?
  14. pros n cons... depends on budget, price and service they provide to you... contractor - time needed to spend cooridnation works, decision making on the spot, monitoring the reno works to prevent them from delaying works, decision on materials and colours themes and all follow by the book or design from mag or paper.. any problems with contractor have to deal everything alone... but cost can be cheaper in the beginning but they might charge later for additional works - advise for those who have done a lot of research and have time for reno progress to monitor works, those on budget can go for ID cum contractor type.. they dont give much design advise but they can do the cooridnation for you, just lesser hassle then fully contractor type... ID - can be competitive pricing and better advise on the design n cooridnation works mostly they handle, any problems with contractor, they will help the owners to solve... etc from what i learn is that depends really on how comfortable you feel with the person whether contractor or ID... the service they can provide that you will feel worth to pay and feel happy about.. problems tend to raise during reno but as long they know how to solve it professionally, things will be ok.. reno works is not cheap and always try to consider carefully.. material wise sometimes cheap quotation may not get good materials for the reno works, so some homework done will help very much.. anyway, welcome those living in sk or future in SK... N3C3 (Standard) oops around Block 300 area welcome neighbours!
  15. oops $225... typo error.. sorry... erh... they write here OEM leh.. any difference or??

  17. good morning... 3 room flats are not bad.. small and easier to keep clean~ tend to keep less things to make the place neat n tidy... i hardly see my neighbours in the weekend too... at least i will have a new neighbour in a few months time... well, i learnt a lot through the experience of reno... first time was parents place but i didnt get involved much.. (much regretted not gaining much experience from there) if i can do again.. i will change some stuff and improve some designs of the place...(especially hacking of the ugly walls!! hee hee) homeowner - yeah lor... i can do more stuff nicer for my place... anyway, say only lar... i want to enjoy my sweet home right now... now can play games and watch any shows and fighting with roy with the remote.. heh heh.. that is a sweet life~
