    The grey brick might be hollow brick or concrete brick which is commonly used in US... red brick is more common in asia countries. But i dun no what the price difference.

    Normally its the glue to stick the laminates & PVC for the cabinets... its irritates the eyes most of the time. but it will be gone normally in a month if u frequently 'air' it.
