  1. Big house you got there, looking forward to final product. Not intending to hack any bedroom wall??
  2. Looking good, do post more pics soon Are you getting any new furnitures?
  3. BIRD1, Yeah I do know what you mean. Will let everyone knows once we try it out!
  4. Xspear, Wow cool you got a balcony in your MBR! IMHO, a lot of hacking can be done to make it more spacious. So much potential in the layout of your newhouse. Care to share your plans?
  5. Hi Jackychun, Your reno is progressing well. Looking forward to see the final product. Your new house is totally refreshing after viewing the "before" photos.
  6. We visited both shops during the GSS period. PM showroom didn't have Taj, Sophia did. The sofa was lying in the middle of the floor but the room was poorly lite. Light intensity was so poor, it didn't bring out the walnut wood underneath. We were told to wait around 7 weeks for our Taj.
  7. Hi BIRD1, You have a valid point there. But nope, the fan blades turn rapidly and I don't foresee this problem Since we are discussing about exhaust fan... Normal ventilation fan is fixed to a glass window which cannot be opened. But ours is different... If you notice, our KDK is not really at the centre of the glass laminated window. Hence the handle still can be open and not be blocked. Any lower, the fan will block the handle. I hope you understand what I mean.
  8. Hi Et209, chocoholic aka Lily and witchie, Thanks alot for your complement. We did not engage ID for our project, we design everything from researching months of Home & Decor and Square Rooms. I'm actually proud to say we drew our own perspective drawing for the contractor to follow to. The brick craftstones were purchased from Hafary. LSH also supplies similar tiles. Cheers,
  9. Hi NazHuque, I would like to bring ur attention to post #123. The cost stated in the post do not include cost of solid surface Hope this helps.
  10. That's 14 sqm more than the mickey mouse flats being offered nowadays. Sorry I forgot to emphasize the prime location in my previous post ..............Omg! Bishan! District 10!!
  11. Hi Potatoes, You would need to change the bathroom window, if it is not a laminated window yet. I don't think u can install on typical wired glass. Both light and exhaust can share same switch. But then ur light needs to be on in the day when exhaust is on
  12. Et209, Wow, zero COV for this unit, what a steal! What is the floor area? It looks like an old design, I suspecting a large area despite being 4RM flat. Definitely a good buy.
  13. Potatoes, Thanks for dropping by Yup in fact the pipes for both toilets was boxed up. IMHO it is quite unsightly leaving it exposed. As for the exhuast fan, we feel theres a need because there a WIW adjacent to the MBR toilet. Better to take precaution than to have mould growing out of our clothes! Initially we designed the exhaust fan switch to have a timer switch so that automatically disconnect electricity after a preset duration. (seen it in a blog here, can't remember which one). As such won't waste electricity
  14. Hi Raptor, First of all, thanks for dropping by. Undermount sink simply put it mean a built in sink. There's also wall-mount, and the very popular counter-top aka the bowl type. Generally these are the main types. Hope this helps.
  15. Hi footprint, Your MBR toilet looks huge! Love how thevanity mirror spans across the length of toilet. Definitely an eye candy to me
  16. Hi MeRf, Thanks for dropping by our blog Indeed our toilets are too small to accommodate two person comfortably. To think that we initially wanted to put a bathtub inside! Another option we contemplated on is to hack away the wall dividing both toilets. Decided not to bcos it will not be practical with just a toilet.
  17. The idea of giving old things a makeover is fantastic! Kudos to that
  18. hi LiquidMod, Wow, what happened to your floorplan? Kenna crumpled by ID bcos you reject him? On a more serious note, to me, your kitchen wall is screaming "hack me!". Is there an open concept kitchen coming up? Also a bigger MBR to accommodate a WIW perhaps? The layout has a lot of potential, that's the good thing about EA. *envy*
  19. Welcome shoobie! How about giving us a sneak by showing the floorplan?
  20. Nice layout you have After seeing your floor plan in detail, the positions of bedrooms and store is so ideal to be hacked to create a larger living area and perhaps a WIW at your MBR? My humble opinion. From your posts I understand that you will be keeping the bedrooms. Either way, have fun and enjoy the process
  21. Hi MeRfMeRf, Love your choice of common toilet wall and floor tiles
  22. Thanks a lot beezeebear I'm not sure whether this style is Scandinavian or Modern Resort, it sure is comfortable and soothing. Looking forward to your version of this style
  23. Hi 'beezeebear, Welcome to Renotalk! Looking forward to your final product! Enjoy the process
  24. Hmmm... I would consider my water pressure is small. My floor is not very high. We changed the toilet windows so the exhaust fan hole was cut. Have to check the exact price and get back to you again.
