For the people who want to do lasik, I strongly advise against watching the video, or any other videos on the process. There are no benefits to watch it coz you are scaring yourself with seeing the process so close. Even without watching these videos, I am scared stiff after having been educated about the process by the doctor. Why do you need videos to scare yourself more? What is important to know is what the process is about, your suitability, the risk involved and just do it.

Got try lah, but then not very often...hehe No need eat more for you lah, if you are working on my flight back to Singapore, You serve me inflight meals, I serve you *Buttered Chix , garlic Naan and even Branyani* in return...I da bao bring on board Cantona: Maybe if you bring the Tekong mossies here, u will see them Stinging the Indian mossies instead...hahaha... yeah, can also try Egypt and China, also very rich in history...hehe and both have a wonder of the world each
-
well, my fren did that... here's the pic at dawn.. well...here's some of my pics taken at sunset in India
-
dawn and dusk are the best times..... sometimes u can even capture the sun and the moon at the same time
-
skywolf: I've seen more mosquitoes in these few weeks than in my whole life....seriously even in the hotel car towards work in the morning, i can see at least 6-7 mossies flying around in the car.....and i will be busy killing them with my bare hands...lol.... Seems like the mossies here are not as fast as those back in Singapore....i could hardly killl singapore mossies with my bare hands Even Singapore mossies have a faster pace of life... hehe

yeah.... no street food, even *proper* restaurants along the road are risky as well. Sometimes it's not that the food is dirty, it's just that our digestive tract isn't used to their strain of microbes. stick to hotels is the safest. But me really not a fan of indian food, so just try their naan, roti, rice and curries......did not even try their lassi.... ok lah, it's an experience. But other than work, I would definitely not envision myself in this land. So since i was here for 6 weeks, might as well make the full use of it and visit the Taj since I would probably not come to India for social holiday. But I will miss things like, no need to do laundry, no need to do tidy the bed and make the room, just signing meals and drinks to the room and of cos need not drive myself to work and can sit behind and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city traffic.....hehe will be back soon, to the welcome of CTE, ERP again.....lol
-
not bad lah...but actually mainly stuck to Thai/Jap/Continental food in the hotel.. prefer to be on the safe side... Indian food only try a couple of times, garlic naan is very nice, thali is nice also...very filling...alot of small bowls of different stuff tonight will be having *fresh rock lobster slow cooked in oven* and maybe fresh asparagus soup....yum yum.... last night was tom yum soup and lamp chops..hehehe
-
skywolf: it's too hot, and there are too many mosquitoes flying around apple: no sari stories, naan stories alot Cantona: India is only beautiful at certain selected places, the rest of it isn't a treat for your senses (sight/smell/hearing)

Just done that last weekend, minus the Jaipur part..hehe

wow - i must be relaly lucky. My myopia >600 per eye. But my corneas are slightly thicker than normal (if corneas too thin - risky to do lasik) oh ya - salivation - yeah - it's a problem for me too. Its basically discomfort after the extraction/surgery (not so much of the pain) - terrible.
-
Agreed. still must take due care of the eyes after lasik. Bestie's elder brother also army sponsored pioneer batch - i think shd be more than 10 years ago when he first sign on. Now - still running good! WOW pain factor? ok - i extracted 4 on the same day, under LA. Regretted so much for not choosing GA. i hated the way they saw my gums to extract lower teeth - no pain, alot alot of pressure and the sound scares me. i would rate the pain level as managable, it's more of the discomfort during the surgery (wont be so bad if you choose GA) and the discomfort thereafter (cannot eat properly for the next few days). mC - at least 5 days. Get a referral - will be significantly cheaper and no need to pay cash after deducting from medisave
-
sure - talk to her abt it the next time i see her. haha - your bf does abetter job girl.. remember? haha Lasik essentially changes the entire corneas. I only hear of people who need glasses after lasik in 2 cases (1) long sighted (2) eyesight took a turn for the worse coz they really never take care of their eyes. Whatever the case, the convenience for that 5-10 years (if it's really true and not a optician business gimmick) the convenience is worth every cent spent.
-
compared to the past - it's much cheaper - yupp! call me call me!
-
haha - yesyes - that he's coming back in 2 weeks but more happy with my new eyes!! I am now officially a supporter of lasik!
-
Congrats to your new fone Kitty! $208 is a good price - for how many years plan? My forest today extremely bright and clear - extremely happy !
-
hmm - i thought abt my forest too - i think my forest is a hint of denial of the real world. haha
-
haha - honestly, once you explore the ibook, it is pretty user friendly. Love it for its size and screen presentation. Get normal ibook better than getting the Air, Air's battery is undetachable and you therefore have to utilise the batt everytime, thus increasing the number of times it is being charged and reducing the battery life. Charging time is also pretty long for the Air (4 hrs at min!) That being said, I am still a fan of the old reliable windows and thus bought a Compaq laptop, but this is simply due to personal preferences.

Droolllllllllll - Lets stay in that the next time we go! I go a qn to ask you - the stuff we fed him that day outside the Spa place - is it banana or sugarcane? hahahaha

I finally report in already, after 4 crazy days at work - yawn... Went str back to work on monday - it was terrible. But the trip was really fun, I did take pics of the shopping I did! Let me find time to load up the pics from my camera when i finally get back home later.. hee... Val - the bedding too small? it' barely just right for Fifi - she will jump in la - but IF she grow any bigger - she cannot fit already ... I am really glad for the doggie stuff that i bought from Bkk - very worth it. and Apple - thanks man - for introducing us your fav food.. the Nam Sing dinner was sooo nice la!

Bring 19" inside the 29" - better to have more space than required, than to have no space when required.
