the truly rich go for ferraris/porsches/astons... we heartlanders, if got chance to own the GTR, already reach motoring-nirvana liao... seriously.... 3.5s STOCK ride....how much faster u want to go before u lose your license? Current issue TORQUE magazine has the GTR featured on the cover, it's dark titanium colour. The car was provided by Garage R, actually already sold but the owner agree to lend it out for photoshoot. Maybe I should just offer to start up the car for my colleague whenever he is away for holidays or business trips

hai..... today my colleague told me he most prob will be getting the GTR soon so lucky, stay in parent's private house in central part of spore, single..... not like me, married liao, before buy GTR must also think of getting condo/landed first, which is **** bluddy expensive nowadays (even though it appears property market is cooling off gradually). cos abit weird to spend on a car that is worth as much as the flat and park in the carpark. appears now that the logical way is to stay put with the current ride, build up more savings, get a condo as the next big commitment. mrs prefer a condo as no need to maintain own property like gardening and so on - but yet we do not want to stay in a condo beside hdb flats - cos we feel like it's like trying to act rich and posh when u are still going to the same wetmarket or smelling the same air as your hdb mates - nothing against hdb flats (we are staying in one now anyway ) but i am sure you all get the drift. but if we want to move out of our current place, hopefully it's some development beside the sea (my fav), best is around fort/meyer road area. near town also, siam quite alot of expressway jams hai....just want to rant here... cos it seems like my dream of GTR is becoming a distant dream...now revised >5yrs liao.... envy my colleague, can get GTR, park safe safe sound sound in his private house garage. hai......同人不同命

Lorry smashes into car, crushes driver to death By Carolyn Quek A LORRY rammed into another in front, swiped it off the lane, and ploughed into a car, crushing the driver inside to death on Tuesday afternoon. The horrendous accident, which caused another car and SBS bus to be hit, took place on Loyang Avenue towards Tampines Road at about 3.30 pm, causing a massive traffic jam in the area. Eyewitnesses said the lorry first hit a lorry in the centre lane, side-swiped it to the left and went on to slam a car, which was slowing to a stop at the junction. Ahead of the car was another car and an SBS bus. Mr Koh Yong Soon, 40, who was a passenger in the lorry hit, told The Straits Times: 'Everything happened so fast. After our lorry was rammed, it ploughed into the car infront and went on top of it, crushing the car and driver. The driver died on the spot.' Mr Koh, who works for Chong Heng Paper Products, and his colleague, who drove the lorry, were unhurt, but two Chinese men were taken to Changi General Hospital. The accident drew a big crowd and sparked a traffic snarl. http://www.straitstimes.com/Latest%2BNews/...ory_215676.html

-
not sure which honda mpv yours is, but according to this 2003 Odyssey "The key to the new Odyssey's innovative, low-floor platform is a large, flattened, plastic subfloor fuel tank," !! http://world.honda.com/factbook/auto/motor.../200310/03.html the mechanic trying to 仙you and your husband ah
-
cos last time, policeman wore shorts just kidding nowadays more cars are using high-strength plastic fuel tanks to save weight while maintaining a reasonable amount of safety and structural integrity.

hehe, today is my birthday and usually I don't pump full tank cos dun want to carry dead weight around and make a slow car even slower But decided to give my boy a full tank (almost, was down to the last mark when i reached the petrol station, abit scared that have to get down the car and push the car into the station..haha ) yes, i celebrated my birthday in the petrol station when the clock struck 12, with the aunty at the counter singing birthday song for me...hahahah...kidding

can lah...sell the flat, live in the car kidding sadly, the car only feels like a nissan march if it's parked in one of the sentosa cove bungalows. compared to the others who have lambos/ferraris/astons in their driveways

if we are all truly rich, everything settle in cash liao, why let banks earn even 0.00000000000000001% of interest. but the sad part is that most of the time our *wants* far exceed our *riches*, that's why have to incur loans just like me now, staying in hdb flat nia, dreaming about GTR in 10 years time.... oooops, just revised that to 5 yrs, hopefully next revision is shorter and not longer then again, probably revised longer....will *want* to move to nice property next.... then *want the GTR or the next budget supercar that comes along*

precisely, can even download europe/america maps and go to the differ POIs if free and easy tour...lol

-
portable good that can bring to other countries and use. built in as headset unit good that no need to see messy power cables.... best is have one in the hp and one built into the car. best of both worlds, never get lost.

some say silkies were crossed between yorkshire and australian terrier. that's why look similar to yorkies but much bigger boned. But i think there are lot of inbreeding between yorkies and silkies and there are cases where silkies are sold as yorkies esp when small, both look alike. some might be just very small midget silkies that end up looking like yorkies, even when adult but u see the face, actually there is a subtle difference between an adult yorkie face and an adult silky face. yorkies got a more *guniang face - small pixie face* , silky got a more *masculine face-due to bigger boned nature* a layman way of explaining goes like this... "a yorkie, male or female, you will also think that it's a gal due to the *look*, a silky, male or female, you will also think it's a boy due to the *look*" just like how i used to feel my male yorkie (at my old place) looks like a gal, and JRTs look like guys no matter they are male/female....hehe and of cos u see some variations between the 2, that's probably caused by the inbreeding ba. but due to the inbreeding, alot of non standard traits like curly hair, wooly coat and other problems may be passed down lor. read : silky terrier, but sometime the fur doesn't feel silky at all..not due to neglect, but rather inborn ->genetics that's why got show-quality dogs and pet quality dogs. show quality keeps the breed standards, alot of criterias, posture, coat, face shape...so on... but whether show quality or not, both kinds will be good pets

yah, best is take it easy, ahead or behind the blocker, usually only a difference to your destination by a couple of minutes nia... nowadays expressways so jam liao, if got chance to even cruise slowly behind the blocker, should relax and appreciate that you no need brake and move, brake and move...hehe free flowing expressways during normal daylight hours will soon be a thing of the past nowadays can only see free flowing expressways after midnight

they know cos u already trigger their *defense* mentality mah....they already keeping watch of you in their rearview mirror cos even if u did not flash horn beam, u gotten too near for their rear comfort zone... so any actions and maneuvers you do, they will take note. and adjust their driving based on what you are trying to do. so the thing is see such drivers in front, assess the situation in lanes 1 and 2. totally no chance to do the maneuver, stay cool and relax, keep a good distance. so that they will not be triggered and continue yakking away with families/frens in the car, listening to music (thinking the one at the back not aggressive, kept good distance behind, so no need to keep looking at rear mirror) so once the space comes, you move. and by the time they notice, u are already by their side, by the time they step, u are already halfway or totally in front back in lane 1.
