OK, it certainly does make absolute business sense for you to want to do business with EL since you operate in different markets and do not compete with each other for the same customers. Although EL doubts your sincerity and accused you of being a trouble maker, nevertheless, they should perhaps reveal the identity of their KL furniture factory once and for all since it is owned and operated by them and a furniture factory is supposed to be open to doing business with everyone who comes knocking on their door.

Hey Jeanius, you are punching below the belt here, you know. As EL has an existing contract with an external and independently operated 3rd party factory to do OEM furniture, you cannot expect EL to divulge their 3rd party factory's name in here since it is not EL's own factory and they wouldn't want others to approach the 3rd party factory and obtain similar designs/goods and services.

Can you please share your upholsterer details with me. I need to reupholster my couch seat and cushions. Many thanks in advance.

I don't think you will be disappointed with their after sales service too. Seems EL is very determined to use their after sales service as their main marketing/selling point. More power to them if they walk the talk.

As far as I know and especially after doing some in-depth research the last 2 years, there is no such thing as Tuscan or Tuscany Leather in the context of furniture sold in Singapore. Of course there is leather from Tuscany but only those genuine Made In Italy High End Furniture may occasionally contain some leather hides from Tuscany. It just does not make economic sense to use leather hides that originate from Tuscany in mid and low end leather furniture that are to be sold here in Singapore because consumers can't tell the difference and even if they are told that the leather is really from Tuscany, they are not prepared to pay the real price of Tuscan leather if they are buying low and mid end leather furniture. If I am a sofa manufacturer/retailer, I think I can get by with using leather from India & Pakistan. China does not have enough cows to satisfy their furniture factories so most of their leather is imported anyway. I got a leather jacket that I bought from the U.S that is made from Pakistani leather, really cannot make it The best leathers are from Europe, period. One of the many reasons being their free ranging cattle are not herded and surrounded by barb wire like the U.S where so many fine leather hides are scarred by the extensive use of barb wire. Conclusion, don't bother trying to find out where the leather comes from unless you are paying top dollar for your leather furniture because every country import and export leather to and from each other.

I bought my Omazz mattress from Lotus Bedding in 2007. Had no issues because I was only buying the Omazz mattress of which I think Lotus is one of the distributors/retailers. Seems everyone has issues with their in-house brands which included everything besides the mattress. Guess if stick with just purchasing the mattress only should be fine bah.

Another victim has succumbed to having an unhealthy obsession with leather. Welcome to the leather lovers club. The fingernail test is just a quick, easy, fairly accurate and discrete test to determine if it is real leather only. It will not be able to tell you the quality of the leather.

I also find the postings here getting to be a little redundant and tiresome. Hence, my earlier comments that we just have to wait and see the final outcome. We don't issue warranty for our timber related products because our customers don't care about warranty as the warranty is only good when the company is still alive. They only require numerous test and quality certifications like ISO and PSB Certification etc etc from us because these are the only warranties that they would recognize. Business to Business dealings is not quite the same as Business to Consumer dealings. Everything is all written in black and white, any verbal assurances is only taken at face value as it is deemed as bird talk.

It is true I don't brush my dogs' teeth although I am supposed to brush them every few days. I depended on those addictive/chemicals that I added to my dogs' drinking water but I never expected the fluoride that is added to our tap water to be more effective than those costly addictive/chemicals. You are right that in recent years people started to question the wisdom of adding fluoride to our tap water but our Govt is claiming that tooth decay rates fell dramatically in the general population after they started adding fluoride to our tap water in the 1970s.

That was my Vet's opinion, not mine but I agree with his opinion. You just said the filter system will not be able to remove more than 70% of the fluoride, seems then that removal of at least 50% of the fluoride is good enough to cause my dogs teeth to turn black. I rather trust my Vet's opinion than any other person especially when he has been my Vet for more than 20 years.

Not trying to be sarcastic here. You are quite fortunate to be able to use the forum to get your problem rectified only because EL is trying to use the forum to promote their extraordinary customer service. May well turn out to be a Win Win situation for both parties. The vast majority of furniture retailers don't even bother to respond to criticism and complaints in here.
