  1. what are ur main worries about it? L-box indeed will make u feel more spacious but it depends on the wiring too. im not sure wherethe ur current wiring is conceal or not.
  2. ans599: Hows everything? Ur tiles issue?
  3. That depends got OT pay or not.
  4. SGBribes U indeed got hunt ariund here and there. But better look out for more. As u will be suprise on it.
  5. ur laminated flooring is in the toilet? or ur overlay tiles is in the toilet?
  6. It will be safe to have one switch for each compressor. Main unit one switch and system 3 will be the other switch. I bet that ur air-con contrator is shock to hear that 24000BTU in lving room and dining room. Do check what ur contractor gives you for ur installation. Like the trunkings, wire core etc etc...
  7. Phantom need to rest if not he cannot perform on stage...
  8. well still survive... super busy with mine work... well busy at work... training new staff loh.. work need to meet deadlines. so dont have much time here.
  9. 3 weeks is possible. but ur renovation fees will be high. as their staff will need to stop on other sites and come to help u to meet ur target. therefore more manpower is needed. furthermore they need to order things from their suppliers and deliver within short notice this is increase in pricing too.
  10. Welcome to renotalk luppy, For ur reno if depends what u intend to do: like for hacking is required then it will take a longer time. about one week plus to two. depends what u are hacking. like all the floor tiles and wall tiles and others? for capentry work noramally they will used about 2 weeks to a month also depends on what u are doing. lightings/air-con/electrical works this will required time also. for reno issue well first of all what theme u want for your house? zen, modern, retro and many more. if not sure wherethe u are looking into fengshui if yes it will be good to ask first before choosing the theme. as there will be some restrictions on the colors and other things. then when all ur fengshui issue is done. then u can seek advise from ur contractor on what theme will suit ur house? some things hope u can take note is the material u will be using and the quality of the products u are getting. Spend more time to source for a few quotes and compare. If u want to look out for only contractor then souce quotes all from them. some quotes will look cheap some will look expensive. if u are in doubt on their quote feel free to write down here. experts here will help u out. odiem is also an expert here. and go to their sites where renovation is still carry on and also where renovation had done up. U can see the differents between in the middle of reno and end of reno products. then u start to decide which contractor should u get. workmanship play a major role and also wherethe u are comfortable to let the contractor whom u want to hire and reno ur house. hope this can help u out.
  11. wow jessi... finally ur reno had started... want to see what will be the final outcome.. swee swee wor...
  12. Hope it helps. But the quote here seems a bit exp on it. It will be good to souce for more quotes and visit their site to see their workmanship.
  13. You can read on top of what i had stated on the installation issues. but for ur price sound a bit exp. What will be the model you are getting? compressor and air-con? how about the installtion issue? what they can give u?
  14. What is ur combination of ur system 3? 12000BTU and 2x9000BTU or all 9000BTU? For single split 24000BTU $1.3K sound ok. But still need to know what model will u be taking and also will be good to ask for the warrenty their servicing how many times free here and there? Got freebies? What is included in the installation like below:- 1) the thickness of the insulation 2) grade of class use ? 3) what is the gadge (copper pipe) use ? is it gadge 23 ? 4) is it using "3 cord 70" wiring cable ? 5) is the drainage pipe insulation all the way ?
  15. yoz everyone in jurong west sis and bros. How everyone?
  16. what is the brand of air-con u are getting? If u are using that 24K BTU in u living room then it will be better to use a single unit for it. The other 3 units will be another one.
  17. It will be good to know what are the materials u are getting. Try to take a look at some of their current project base. Go to some of their ongoing renovation so u will get a better picture. Dont just to sign up just they are cheap or other reasons. Each cents counts as per material being used. Thickness of the material plays a role too. Hope it helps..
  18. Nice drawings u got there. Cant wait to see the final outcome of ur reno.
  19. Make sure they u will have enough breathing space for ur fridge. As our country is humid and hot. So with an enclose area will make ur motor hot and trap heat within it. Wood trap heat. Will also affect ur wood if the material is not up to standard. Im not sure how many feet did ur contractor quote you but do ensure that the wood material, laminated skin, ABS, glass backing and the glass they used. GnM bro dont forget about the cabinet base and fridge base. Relacker: After looking at the tiles quotation above, how much did the contractor charge you psf for the tiles? Also as above they only charge u cabinet base. How about fridge and washer base?
