Electrical Works in progress... We decided to go with the electrician we used 5 yrs ago.. He does an AMAZING job. He helped a young couple like us 5 yrs back.. and was really wonderful in helping us when our contractor screwed us 5 yrs ago. So no regrets... and this time round, he is STILL helping us willingly even without us using his ID contact. He is also... very OCD. I seem to like all my OCD subcons~ ROFL. Mind you, I am NOT doing an industrial/scandinavian look.. The black trunking will be hidden away by false ceiling but its still laid in an orderly grid manner.. He helped us sourced for whatever my contractor couldn't provide at top quality.. One of the jobs my contractor wasn't willing to do was plastering.. as it would delay our handover date. So he helped us sourced for someone who would still deliver on time. XD And this is one of his OCD markings..

Are the other fan models also matte black?

wahh.. thank you thank you for all the compliments.. :P the real test will be the final look of the house since we didn't use ID or even a contractor that can design.. as we jokingly call our contractor.. designer beng. i must say its very stressful to DIY but yet quite fun to do so on our own.

erm.. no. he doesn't understand the design I want for my kitchen. we got major miscommunication on it as he didn't go with us to do tile selection. so end up there was insufficient tiles for the kitchen (only). the rest of the house is ok.

This I agree.. LOL! Where to find movers who won't charge a bomb for only few pieces of furniture..

Tiling works in progress Subway tile backsplash... Managed to find 3D ones! w00 h00! The exposed area I've been talking about... ONCE again, my tiler ran out of tiles.. :bangwall: Blur contractor need to order more tiles again.. Good thing is its his brother's tile shop right???

can install two storage heater mah.. =X one at common toilet for the toilet and kitchen too..

bwahahahaha.. my mum asked the same thing.. actually the whole kitchen right, all the fat white tiles will be covered up with cabinets.. other than this small portion near the chute and toilet. honestly, my contractor very blur. he took my mum words literally when she said behind the cabinets are tiled up right?! so he went to order a bunch of tiles and tile up my kitchen.. the good thing is.. very nice leh! makes the OCD me very happy.

yes.... whatever tiles u see in the kitchen now will be hidden away by cabinets.. only a tiny portion at wash/chute area will be exposed.. umm.. its actually a cost cutting measure by IDs - cannot see = no need to do.. we selected cheap white china tiles to do this. my kitchen backsplash will use subway tiles.. too exp if whole kitchen is that ya!

Tiling works in progress..... *sigh* our blur contractor gave wrong instructions to the tiler.. i ended up having more patterned tiles than white.. i wanted more white than patterned. it still seems okay and quite nice.. my consolation - this toilet is the lvl 1 common toilet. i won't be seeing it that much to feel irked. kids common toilet wall tiles are almost up.. left the mosaic to be slotted in. ^^ really like the tiler's work..makes the OCD me very happy...

i am actually surprised that i understand what you are trying to convey! actually a good electrician would have already planned this out for you..

I think it will be fine after furnishing is put in~ the short feeling won't be so noticeable.
