I will try to upload soon It's just the beginning, my advise don't bother to compare to many cause the more u compare the more u will be confuse. Just find one ID that u are comfortable and go with it

Anyway, after that incident we did meet up a few more ID which are also mentioned and use by some of the members here but none of them are to our liking. Maybe both my wife and myself are very picky. but who wont when you need to part with so much cash to someone you dont even know right. Finally only in end April we met up with this ID also recommended by one of the member here. During the 1st meeting, we were shocked to see 2 ID instead of the usual where only 1 ID. (I will call them the angel and the devil) Anyway, during the whole discussion the Angel who is the experience one is the main ID, while Devil was like an assistance who taking down notes and at time throw some fun and weird ideas but seem to be quite reasonable at time. To our suprise, Angel was able to sketch out a 3D on paper just like the every 1st ID that we wanted. the best part is after listening to our ideas and concept the sketch that he draw out was what we wanted. So the 1st quote came a week later and the price is very close to the 1st ID quotation. As usual, my style is to meet up with the ID on site and get him to explain his drawing and quotation. After viewing his revised quotation, there's a slight price increase cause we added a few more items which i feel it is acceptable. On the 3rd meeting (mid of May), we already have the intention to engage them (Angel & Devil) as our ID. On the day of meeting, we further discuss on the minor details of the design, quotation and price. Once I feel that everything is OK, i given a signal to wife to take out the cheque book. Angle & Devil was shocked for a moment as they didnt expect that today is the agreement day. My wife said "Why! see the cheque book so shock? Dont you guys want the deposit now?" As usual, Devil immediately response YES YES. I told them, base on the final quoted price, give me your very best price and we will issue the cheque. Both of them took out their calculator and start counting, I told them i will leave them for 10min and after that i want my final final price (meaning no more topping up if there's minor changes or defect along the renovation, it will be on their expense) Finally, the cheque was issued 15min later. Actually, if you think about it i really benefit from this agreement. Pay one price but get serve by 2 IDs......And my wife like the combine partner style.

After a long wait we finally got the letter from HDB to collect our Keys in January 2011. And it's so coincidence that the date we collect our key is my wife birthday.. Like HDB is giving her a present on my behalf . It is always a mix feeling when you get a new house. GOOD: a place where we can call it our house and freedom. BAD: it's time where all your $$$$ will be use up. As usual, once keys is collected we head down to our new apartment to view and snap some photos (will post some photos later). The next problem come, time to search for ID and thats when i started doing my research and reading feedback from members in different forum. The most important conclude is I decided to post HERE in RENOV T-BLOG My initial intention was to compare btw 1 or 2 ID will do, so i came across one fourm that highly recommended one ID who is very good. So met up with him to discuss, we very impress with his idea and knowledge although he is quite young (i think). he is able to understand what we want and even draw a 3D sketch on the spot which really impress both my wife and myself. So after a week he came back with the 1st quotation which we found it to be quite reasonable but as i not too sure with some of the description i arrange to meet up again but this time over at my new house so that he can bring me through his idea/concept. Some amendment was made and the 2nd quotation came about a week or so later. At the point in time, where year was round the corner so we put the project on hold till late march as both of us had some business trip. So when we decided to sign with him (yes i know what you guy will think, woah meet only 1 ID and decided. to us if prce is ok, and we are comfortable with him i think is fine)try calling him and even sms him but no reply. this drag on for about a week or so and finally a lady called (i think he diverted his number back to the office)to inform that he was in reservist and will only be back 2 weeks later. So i decided to drop him a text to inform him that we are interested and decide to engage him. after 2 days, he drop me a text and mentioned will get back to me 2 weeks later as he is in reservist. More then 2 weeks had past but still no reply from him so i called him. some again, no response from him until the next day he drop me a text saying he can't take up my project because his boss gave him too many projects. I was shocked to hear that and call him immediately but the result is still the same. I was quite piss off with him; 1. its always very difficult to reach him on the phone 2. we had highlighted to him that we will be engaging him in Jan and he agree to hold the signing of the agreement till after CNY 3. He should have the courtesy to inform us that he will be on reservist and maybe we can arrange some agreement before he go 4. didnt even call back after his reservist I told my wife maybe its also a good thing, if not after we sign dont know can find him or not. I will continue after lunch with some photos and ID hunting.

Hi Laiwh, even the baby fan also wobbles. I read from one post saying that there's a clearance parameters so that it will not wobbles (meaning from floor to fan and blade edge to wall) What i gather is that for V56K then necessary clearance is 2.5m away from floor and 1m away from wall but for baby fan no idea yet. And there's a fan installer who help to install KDK fan which was recommended by some owners.

Hi, Like the idea that your side table in your MBR is raise up so that you can store the seat under it. Anyway, like to check on your KDK baby fan. How is the wind feel like? do you feel much wind when its switch to speed 1?

Hi laiwh, I notice that you have install the KDK fan, just to check who did u get it to install? i understand that if the fan is not install at the recommended clearance (floor to fan and blade to wall) the fan will wobber. When you switch it to speed 1, how's the wind feel? is it good or ok only?

Hi reglx, I did manage to view the web cam over the internet. just that the way i did is different from yours. You are using WAN IP but am using a host (dyndns) to host my cam ip address. Anyway, thanks for your help.
