F & A give very high quote initially. Their quote given to me is very different from the phamplet I received. When I show no interest at all, the guy will try hard to cut their price, call back office to ask for permission to give discount etc etc. So if you decide to take them, you must bargain hard and cut their price by at least a 15%.

Hi Sierra, Your quote is on the high side. Does your package include changing of water pipe? 20ft of kitchen cabinet? Is the floor all homogeous tiles for living room + bedrooms? If your package does not include these, then it is really expensive liao. Standard package for 5 rm resale flat are less than $25K. These will include hacking the whole unit, provide homogenous tiles for lving room + 3 bed rooms. Tiles for kitchen + floor and wall Tiles for 2 x toilets, 20ft kitchen cabinet, 10ft of table top, either copper or stainless steel pipe, provide toilet basin and toilet bowl, painting of the whole house........ It is worth to look around to get the good package.

Hi Bluerosie, the price I asked them last week is now $1480 with $200 ntuc voucher. In Kangtai, jurong west. Not sure why the price went up. I was told that there was a short promotion period in the past at S$1050, not sure how true is it. In the end I got the samsung C5000. Did not get the deal as good as eggroe....................

Hi BlueFly, Thanks for the advice. I have also check with both Techno and Fujioh on lifetime warranty for toughen glass Hob, would like to share with eveyone here. Their so-call lifetime warranty has some clause in it. It is true for lifetime warranty, but this is only applicable for 1 time free replacement. That is if the glass shattered for the 1st time, regardless of when, they will change it for free. But if the glass shattered the 2nd time, then have to pay for replacement. This is what they claimed for lifetime warranty on the glass................. scary truth which is not told unless asked.

Hi everyone, I have been following up closely on this built in oven discussion especially the advices from Kitchen Matters and Strata. I am also deciding between FE811XS1 and EOB31002X, can anyone help me on this? 1) What is the maximum power in watt for FE811XS1? 2) I heard there is no oven lamp for EOB31002X. Is this true? If given the option to choose between these 2 models, which one is recommended? Thanks in advance for the advice.
