Hi fellow forumers... went for house viewing and was quite happy with one but for this unit, everything's fine except one of e bedroom actually has an odd shape... which i understand in fengshui point of view, semi circle or triangular shape shd be avoided... Any kind souls can advise???? I've attached a copy of e floor plan for reference... appreciate ur comments!!!
  3. Hmm so toking abt cov, when I sell my unit (I took hdb loan) e buyer if is take bank loan, means cov is taken on 2nd appt?
  4. Actually I told my hub.. I know they asking 40k to 'confirm close' e deal.. So we asked our agent to check with e seller agent e amt they looking at if we ext e 4wks for em.. Cos based on current market rate for rental at tt area, it's abt 2.5k +/-... So they haf to 'deduct' from e cov of whateva.. N they asking 38k cov to confirm close With 4wks extension.. But right nw we're only scared they come out with pattern n drag more than 4wks.. So it's so headache lo.. N oso.. We more kiasi.. Imagine kena caught by hdb oso dunno wat will happen.. Hahahaha so like here scared there scared like tt.. N come in here to ask for advice lo.. Sianzzz.. It's so hard to get a value for money unit.. Cov there asking very high.. 50k or more for those nearer to main rd.. Madness.. We wanted to defer e second appt so tt they can wait for their unit to be ready or wat but they said no which I tink bcos they dun haf enuff cash for e cov for the EA they bot n waiting for ours to complete.. ZzZZzz
  5. Haizz ya lo.. Chain reaction is so Urghhh.. Nw I guess we'll only wait first n see how.. Anyway tt day agent still say "they took a bridging loan.. So they still haf ard 60 days time.." telling us they still taking their time.. N no hurry.. LOL.. For cov wise, I heard some ppl actually pay during first appt.. Isn't that the case?
  6. Cos we asked if we can defer 1st appt or the second appt they say no.. 1st appt they nid e cov pay for their new flat's cov.. Then second appt i tink they wanna complete earlier so can get e proceeds or wat (thats my guess la) then may end up drag n drag.. That's y abit sian diao.. Hahaha
  7. Actually our agent fren warn us not to extend when selling our flat oso.. So when buying he said e same oso.. But I was tinking, in resale market, how many % of sellers wun nid extension.. But Arghhh so headache.. E price for e unit is acceptable but we're scared e seller 出 pattern.. Cos some things they say r contradicting hahahaa..
  8. Haa.. Actually e agent fren is juz trying to warn us.. Cos fren ma.. Just in case.. LOL.. Cos when we were selling our unit, e agent fren said e same thing to us oso.. It's my hub who doesn't feel comfortable cos he feel that e cov nv reduce much then they ask for e extension.. We req for a 'date' instead of no of wks but they insist not mentioning any date so we're scared they'll delay handing over e key baq to us oso.. They bot their new place alr but I Tink it'll nid time to Reno oso.. But I oso warn my hub, other units we gonna view high chance nid extension oso.. Hahaha.. We alr sold our flat n may temporarily find a place to stay first n I giving birth in feb so hub abit more ganjiong.. Hahahha..
  9. Hmm.. Nw I've a qs to ask.. E owner is actually asking for a 4wks extension upon completion of second appt.. Hub is not very comfortable with it cos our agent fren advise us not to enter in this kinda agreement cos if hdb suddenly garang n might check.. If we actually haf a written agreement in black n white of allowing ext of 4wks, does e written agreement actually help safeguard our interest?
  10. Hihi, I've a qs to ask.. I'm currently intending to get a unit which e seller req 4wks extension.. Our agent whose our fren usually advise frenz not to go into extension to safeguard emselves as all liability will be under e buyer.. But let's say if we haf a written agreement allowing 4wks extension only.. If hdb decides to be garang n went to spot check realizing previous owner still ard, what's e consequences? Haa..

ESP 4rm.. That's y may b getting 5rm instead.. Diff of abt 40k.. Punggol 4rm we viewed r super small n oddly designed.. After our flat was sold we went for a few viewings oso but e prices all so unreasonable that's y we stopped viewing until yest.. It's so hard to find an ok unit.. Haizzz.. Then everything come together.. Stress! Hahahha

  15. We initially tot of trying e sep sale of bal flat but recently haf been tinking e chances not high cos we second timer so yest went view 2 units.. Saw one we quite happy with n pricing is ok.. We're looking at Punggol sengkang nw hahahah.. Hougang's em pricing went up by almost 200k from Apr till nw.. Apr's Val was only 500+.. Nw Val 600+ n asking ard 700k or 700+k so trying to get a 5rm nw haa
  16. Hahaha.. We actually sold our unit in June.. One wk after advertise.. So fast.. Initially we were hesitating to sell first but had a gd offer so sold it.. First appt on 20Sep.. Stupid hdb suddeny wanna upgrade my toilet n kitchen pipes which means my toilet has to relay tiles all tt oso.. They wanna torture me with noise pollution since 3+yrs baq when they did lift upgrade.. ZzzZZzz.. So sell off fast fast.. Long story! Cos suddenly know I'm pregnant -.-" confinement will kena e upgrade period where we haf no toilet for 2wks.. Bef knowing e pregnancy was tinking abt getting a 2 bedroom EC n temp rent a place first but got no2 nid more space so buying baq a hdb.. But haven got our new hse yet.. Still hunting.. Hahahahha! Prices so high not ez to find..

Currently in e midst of house hunting and intended to get a unit but can't 'decide' house facing shd be taken from e main door facing direction or e balcony -.-" bcos main door n balcony is totally opp direction.. I've a fren who actually told me apartments or houses abv #7, the house facing position is based on window n not main door E unit I'm looking at also has a missing NW corner which after reading several sites online, it actually represents the father in the household aka husb and it's a very important corner in the house... Juz wondering if it's really that bad to really haf that missing corner? Attached a copy of the floor plan below... the top left corner missing shd be north west right??? Appreciate any advices commented... Thks...
  19. Yup yup.. E point blocks at my hse here Val at 600k now.. Last mth there was one unit sold off less than 3days after being marketed.. I guess easily ppl can offer ard 700k for one such unit.. (but it's still cheaper than e newer high rise 5rm at boonkeng costing ard 780k) haa

  25. Hihi.. Juz wondering if bee nests found at home are gd/bad fengshui? Hahahaha.. Moved in this flat for 5yrs and abt 3yrs ago, we found small nest (small small bee) on my sliding door ledge at kitchen, study room door, a window ledge.. N our main door frame.. We scrapped it away after discovering it and lately realized our main door has new nest when I saw a big bee flying pass (on my main metal gate) -.-" last time's was small one.. Juz wondering in fengshui terms are there any link whether it's gd/bad? LOL..
