I used him some time back Oso! I had a few issues with my reno and he said will send ppl down which I had to call a few times to confirm. Some issues were not covered Oso. Was pretty heart pain spending so much $ for e Reno. Our Reno was a very rushed one cos I was abt to give birth and after e Reno I was lazy to haunt him cos I've got a baby and a preschooler to look after. He did manage to handover our place bef I give birth so somehow we give n take.

After few wks of Reno, things has been gg quite smoothly n nw all false ceiling, painting works done.. Left major carpentry, installing my sanitary stuffs etc etc.. But hmm there's still something hogging on my mind regarding e painting works.. We haf this concern of booklice cos we had 2 frenz whose home were manifested by it and esp nw tt our place is at punggol, considered humid n wif lotsa 'natural creatures', we address our concern of gd paint + sealant eVen way bef we sign on e dotted line.. So We topped up $650 to haf sealant as base for our walls and we pretty last min requested for medifresh paint instead of vinilex 5000.. On Last Sun we went up to our new place n saw a few tin of e big big white paint I tink call matex? N oso abt 3 tin of vinilex 5000.. Mon when we went up to discuss e carpentry I oso saw e same few tins there n when I asked, ID said e medifresh will be delivered nxt day (Tue).. So on Tue we were told tt e sealant will be painted but in e evening my hub popped by, e place juz smell like normal paint smell.. (my understanding of sealant is tt it has a very very pungent smell??? But e hse has juz e normal paint smell.. N in e afternoon when hub spoke to our electrician fren, he was still asking izit very stinky today cos muz b pretty hard to work wif sealant smell but surprisingly he juz say it's ok ah.. Used to paint smell le) then hub saw those lying ard e hse there's only e same few tins of paint we saw on Sun! Decided to wait still n tinking mayb paints really to be sent later plus to trust my ID, I realized e paint that's up yest looks like e vinilex one still cos medifresh by rite has lighter color wif lower sheen.. Then from some photos update tt were sent to us via whatsapp, I glanced 2 pics n saw only e RED vinilex paint n matex.. ZzZZzzz.. So nw wondering if for e sealant were we taken for a ride? N for e paint, I'm definitely sure medifresh is not used.. Haizz.. But overall so far they've done a very gd job n went e extra mile for us in many things oso.. Juz e paint part I'm not happy cos if cant use medifresh cos alr ordered vinilex, or wan topup, can juz let me know but nw I'm even suspecting they nv applied sealant! Sianzz.. Nw I wonder how do I know if sealant used anot.. How shd I confront em neh?

I saw KDK website e other day n I tink they haf e service? $320-350 I tink.. My current Reno did at $320.. But it's my iD who did for me..

But wat I heard is he say my wires r concealed inside e wall one so haf to hack open then seal baq again very tedious.. Then e existing lighting points removed le muz seal baq.. Blah blah blah.. But I was tinking, isn't tt quite e norm nw? But our own electrician oso feel abit complicated la haa.. Sooo I oso dunno -.-"

For lightings, expected 2k+ budget initially but we got convinced by this guy after He did our planning of lights for e whole hse.. We spent a whopping 4k+ on LED downlights, phillips LED t5 (as stated on receipt).. A few Phillips LEDino range lights *faint* These exp lightings r mainly for MBR, wiw n living rm.. Kids rm ended up wif juz a simple Phillips 'Sun' shaped light cos e others we wanted to get isn't bright enuff to light up e room.. Bahhhh.. Shall make up to my baobeis wif nice decals ba.. Ermm.. No pics for e downlights n t5.. Actually we nv take any photos at all at e warehouse while choosing our lights.. So managed to get some photos online for a few of e Phillips lights we got.. spotlight in WIW Bedside lamp in MBR Phillips sun shaped lamp for e darlings' rm Simple Phillips suspension light using LED bulbs too for e dining table As for kitchen n bathroom, it's simple cheap lighting ;P for kitchen i totally forgot how it looked like!!! LOL..

As cny is drawing near, it oso means e keys handover and my EDD is nearing!!! If I'm not wrong, the handover date for my place shd be on 27/28th Jan.. Hopefully my notti lil baby will guai guai n wait till we move in on e 31st n let us settle down abit bef she pops out.. Preferably n hopefully on 4Feb *cross fingers* Reno so far has been gg pretty alright.. *cross fingers* Electrician wise we've decided to use our own electrician fren.. He's quite experienced and we trust his worksmanship.. He'll be starting tml! Hopefully things can go on smoothly!!! So far up to date, it's abt 1wk of reno.. Last Sat Donny got complained by the neighbor downstairs ;P he actually scheduled Sat n Sun to haf some works to be rushed but nw had to remove Sun's works le.. Sat till 1pm.. But heard tt e neighbor downstairs has been coming up to complain since day 1 cos there's kids in e hse.. Hub told me tt Johnson said he's gg to buy some cake/pastry to e neighbor to 'coax' him abit ;P Donny n Johnson actively update us on e progress of e Reno by sending 10+ photos on our whatsapp grp chat everyday cos I'm preggy can't go up monitor or wat.. Hub bz like a buzz buzz bee.. LOL.. Every corner of e hse is covered in e photo.. Hahahaha.. Even haf this uncle posing for em in e photo lo.. So funny!!! For nw waterproofing is done.. tilings for wall in toilets shd haf been completed.. Our extended wall for kids bedroom aka living rm is done.. Sealing of wiw rm's door oso done.. It feels so shiok to see e toilet walls down! It makes e toilet look so much bigger! ;P N here's our baobei dotter's bathtub ;P e sanitary shop we visited was recommended by Donny.. E bathtub we chose hasn't arrived sg yet n Donny need e bathtub to be in this wk so e boss actually got us a replacement.. Was said tt e one we ordered was from Msia but e replacement he found for us is from UK.. Not sure if it's true anot but it still feels gd to hear no topup required hahaha..

Urghhh.. Ordered my sanitary stuffs from insani n expected to haf delays but their service is really }#%^£+¥|~ even though I know it's e Xmas n holiday season in Dec, but I tink for em to reply an email only 2wks later is very kuazang bah! Last wk they finally replied my email and that's e contents in e email "hello Lina, well, adding the holidays etc. we expect the missing item to be here in the first two january-weeks. Shall we cancel it instead?" This short email took em 2wks to reply -.-" n they immediately ask if u wanna cancel anot!!?!!!?! i emailed em requesting for partial shipping for e available stock items but it's been a wk alr there's no reply from em at all.. Today dropped em another email n told em off (I wonder if I'll ever get anymore replies from em hahaha).. N at least muz let me know can partial ship out anot instead of waiting blindly lo.. Nw still pondering if I shd cancel my order anot.. ZzZZzz.. But I've alr paid Paypal's charges oso.. Ordered 2 sets of mixer but I nid one mixer in another maybe 2 wks.. I guess I can only buy a local brand then sell off e Hansgrohe mixer bah? On a happier note, my kitchen faucet from amazon reached last wk.. US service is sooooooooo much beta lo!!! It took less than 2wks to arrive lo.. The quality is beta than wat I expected haa.. Hope there wun b any issue on e installation part..

Spoke to our iD today n he checked with our electrician.. E reasoning our electrician gave regarding e price is tt e current unit we bot, everything is concealed ones as default hdb unit.. Extending e sockets haf to 'run concealed oso' so e works has more extra work to do.. Really not very sure izit like tt oso leh.. Haa.. We're not particular abt seeing e trunkings but nw we're quite confused oso..

For sink, initially loved blanco but After research, reviews on maintanence is quite scary to me... So dropped e idea but after visiting hoekee, hub fell for e black one n there's promo! Placed deposit to 'lock' e promo price but undecided which model to get.. But anyway yest after discussin wif Don... I tink I can only stick to a single bowl neh.. ZzZZzzz.. Ohhhh so nice... I wish my bathroom is bigger n can achieve this look.. Too bad mine's not ;P Oso decided on having bathtub cos no choice.... E whole session at e new place my ger keep mumbling to mi bathtub bathtub bathtub.. So I told her to tell uncle Donny herself can put bathtub anot then she whisper super softly to herself.. Haf to go n hunt for a bathtub ard 130-135cm inbuilt ones le... Wanted to get standalone one initially.. N found a few 130/135cm ones but not sure of e price... Hur hur hur.. Finally today's e day! Keys collection!!! Reno will b starting tml!!! But got a prob now.. Tiles hacking for living, toilet n kitchen all those approved on 10 Dec.. But our wall hacking for bedroom n mbr toilet is still pending.. Has been blasting e Punggol branch officer since yest but no ans!!! Called e hotline but system no update so e officer Oso LL.. Can only wait for e officer in charge to call baq.. It's 2wks alr.. Does it usually take so long? Haizzzzzz... Donny side oso blasting e person but no one ans e mobile one wor...
