Hi All, I like to find out if it is a common practice for IDs to leave out the date of commencement and completion in the contract? Will a verbal agreement be honoured usually? And if I have just signed a contract, is there a period where I can still change my mind and terminate the contract? I am concerned because I just signed a contract with an ID today but there is no dates of commencement and completion stated at all. When I asked him to include the dates, he said that it is not the company's practice to do it. Anyone has any stories to share?

Hi, will be collecting my keys to 5 room flat in end Feb. Need reno for the following: 1) Hacking old kitchen cabinets and building new ones. Keep existing tiles but do chemical washing 2) Full renovation for 2 toilets 3) painting whole house 4) Floor polishing 5) lightings and wiring if need be 6) 1 common bedroom reno - wardrobe, study corner etc Maybe more things if I have extra cash. Anyone has an idea how much this will cost? I heard terrible stories about engaging the wrong contractor. Can also pm me if anyone has good contractors to recommend. Thanks.
