weird ...most ID we approached encouraged us to change the piping copper is cheaper than stainless steel ...how much will depend on do you need hot water and cold water pipe being connect to all the taps inclusive the kitchen one.... etc for me i use centralised gas heater (complimentary from SP services ) and i have hot water to all the taps in the house they are slight more exp SPSK, here's a estimate amount of what it will cost to redo the piping

there is no standard way people do the balcony, some will do same tiles and some will do diff...it is really very much individual preference , further more it is your house, so you should do whatever that is to your liking yes most people will redo the piping either copper or stainless type whichever your budget allows. because PVC is not as last that is why people these day will change it since the beginning before all the kitchen cabinet is up

whenever grohe has warehouse sale, the ppl will buy alot as though it is free but i dun blame them cos it is cheaper

nowaday alot of pple like to level and get rid of the balcony...to enlarge the house... so it is petty much up to individual. For me...it is keep the balcony so that i can a semi outdoor area where i intend to do something but yet to do it becos of that i uses diff tiles for the balcony to differentiate it from the living homo tiles ... for mist, they enlarge their balcony...until like a garden in the unit aM I RIGHT mist

they are diff brand but both sell quality stuff !! just to let you know hansgrohe may not be suitable for hdb because the water pressure for hdb is not high enuff for the stuff to work effectively. this is what the staff at hansgrohe told me when i visited their showroom at martin road.

HDB contractor also get tiles from hafarri what... so all we need to do is while selecting tiles for our ID, we also Shun pian select tiles from there based on the price limit given by the HDB contractor... of course if we want more exp and better one...we still can select and inform the HDB contractor that we will top up the difference lor nice... cos it is almos the same as us too

too many hollow tiles ..so they got no choice but to redo all my kitchen and toilet wall tiles as well as toilet floor tiles !! the good thing is we top up a bit of $ and get to choose the design of the tiles we want and they lay it for us...so far so good...... which unit...let's just say we are Wtg's neighbour

hmm.... overlay the toilet tile is cheaper than hack off and redo so it is petty much depend on your budget but then overlay has it problem too. some people worried that the bottom tiles that is not properly layed may pop up one day and damage the overlayed tiles. for me it is hacked and redo..complimentary from HDB

Tiles is the easiest to maintain !! cos they are not afraid of water like wood/laminated wood one bucket of water + some floor detergent...and you can clean the whole house with easy laminates are layed over cement screed and not homo or any other tiles, because a firm level base is required before the laminate wood can be layed. UNLESS you intend to do a platform as cosy corner then you can lay the tiles 1st then build the platform over it ..... at least when you removed the platform, the tiles below the matches the surrounding tiles

maybe i need to rephrase my sentence my living room + bedrooms all homo tiles and my balcony, my kitchen and service balcony and toilets uses the diff kind of tiles not those glossy homo tiles Homo tiles are not cold... they are just tiles. only natural kind of tiles like marble and granite will be cold during wet season... homo tiles slippery if there's water on the floor and you did not walk with care. i dun understand what you mean overlay ? you mean on top of the homo tiles overlay another lay of laminated wood etc ?

my whole house is homogenous tiles including bedrooms but why do you need to overlay laminated wood ?
