Hi All, Need some advice here. Went to Luxury Living 2011 at Expo last wkend and saw this company STURDY FORGE (S) PTE LTD, specialised in "smart window" in another words Frameless Aluminium System. Has any forumers engage them? I try to search the net for this company but I guess they dont have any website .. The frameless window look kind of interesting and intend to have them for our MBR. Do share with us if you have engaged them. TIA

currently my seller have 2 aircon compressors, 1 for living room another for d rest of d bedrooms. Question~ Usually before key handover, HDB guy will come n check rite? all unnecessary or illegal reno or fix they hav to take down. What if when they check d hse n see d 2 compressor n its ok? Do I still hav to double cfrm wif HDB ? Thks

Hi Akomono, Sorry to read abt ur bad experience wif dis type of ppl. Wat u can do rite now is stop all d work, take photo for all d defects n try to go to CASE. U can ask them for advise at wat u can do d next step. As for the balance payment, i tink its best u dont pay him yet. Tho he told u tt he is not scared if u complain to CASE.. he jus bull****..actual fact he must be worry too but jus try to show a brave front n by doing dis ppl dun dare to complain on him. I had 1 experience but not on reno.. My experience is on my wedding planner, all the things that we signed was not being delivered properly.. so wen its come for d balance payment, my parents when to CASE for advise, n wat d CASE guy told them was tt, my parents got d rights not to pay him d balance n instead make him pay us for all d damage done! So when my parents meet up wif d wedding planner, he told us he is not worried if we go to CASE..but when we told him tt we will filed on him to pay all d damage n jus wait for d letter..tt was when he start to worry n agreed to pay d damage by not taking d balance payment..

ur second appt is dis coming mon (31.01.11)?..whoaa..& it b my 1st appt btw how muc did they quote u & wat r d things u goin to do?.. i did chk wif my contractor & he quote me abt 63K include rewiring, hacking 5 walls, full height cabinet, an island, full reno on 3 toilet with bath tub in master toilet, sliding glass panel & door for kitchen, plastering for whole hse, false ceiling & L box, laminate flooring for all bedrooms n stairs, window & grills for whole hse, wrought iron main gate, solid veneer door & solid door for all bedrooms

LOL..I already plan with my design n have plan for an island with storage for gas cylinder.. & yes I hate in d middle of preparing my meal the gas went dead on me as for d EC, I hope im not affected by it..glad tt I bought a unit tt facing d big canal & expressway.. & reason we choose tt area is for my convinience to send my dotter to her childcare center at JE..as currently we staying at toh guan n its only a walking distance to her center..therefore i need to find house with bus service 187 or 502 to toh guan. Jus pray tt we make a good decision on buying dis unit for a long term

I tink west area is cheaper then east.. I already done my OTP.. Val at 400K & 25K for COV.. BB got vry nice EM & if not wrong d price is 500K+.. anyway its up to ur preference
