  1. Welcome... your MCST should be able to provide you your floorplan.
  2. Love the switches and the cement screed! You don't intend to have a cooker hood?
  3. Subway Tiles! :good: I also have subway tiles in my common bathroom! You're in US now? Any floorplan to show?
  4. Defelio, sorry for using your blog to talk to other RTers. JX83 - would love to see your t-blog if you have one. Who is your ID in Fuse Concepts? Is balloted for Havelock Road as well, got an appt, but last 3/4-room was picked a day before my appt.
  5. Hmm... what did you get from Switzerland? Can drop a hint?
  6. Hey guys, I'm curious, is this the few blocks of flats next to the flyover linking AYE and CTE? Next to the Tiong Bahru conservation area?
  7. Hey Prody, any completed pictures to share??
  8. Love the pictures. I dun really like Tuba as they try to be too many things at the same time Btw you sleep really late! I suppose your job is not a 9-5 one??
  9. Would you know if it is much easier to find in Korea? No other retailers in Singapore other than Lorgans? Anyway, I like your various home improvement projects... Fits in v well with your design theme. Keep them coming!
  10. In case Defelio takes another week to return here again, he did mention that he bought his bin on this website - http://shopless.com.sg/
  11. renoseeker - I read your signature and I think it's definitely true! Have to manage expectations when it comes to Aliexpress, imo, since Aliexpress falles into the "cheap" category. :good:
  12. Yup, can buy directly from factories in PRC, but service wise really depend on the company. I had 3 orders on Aliexpress with 3 different companies so far. One made a mistake on our order and wanted to charge us more to rectify the order, but in the end we accepted the mistake at a much lower price. the 2nd order took v long to arrive, but the third order arrived on time. So a bit of luck and heng suay involved as well.
  13. Lorgans? Vintage or is it the LG Serie 1 CRT TV? It's interesting that this thing is so hard to get, google and all I see is articles about this TV, but no online shop selling it!
  14. Define cheap? What's your budget? One of the cheapest place is of course Ikea.
  15. Hi Marcel, our dining table is from Grafunkt. We like the Ark dining table from Air, but the dimensions are too big for our needs (and our dining room).
  16. Defelio, I realised you have not posted photos of your kitchen! Interested to see more, cuz I spy a porcelain kitchen sink!
  17. Not sure if where you live but I recommend looking for Zhiwei from Best Denki IMM if you need help with choosing vacuum cleaners. Gave me very objective advice on vacuum cleaners, very knowledgable about his products. Initially he recommended me a Phillips which had v hood suction power, and didn't try to push that when we indicated our preference for other brands. WE spent over an hour there and he patiently talked us through the different models. We bought a Bosch based on his recommendation which worked v well for us. RE Dyson. Not all Dysons have good reviews, so it's hard to generalize and say Dysons are better. Personnally if you want a good dust trapping system, I think a bagged version is better because of the ease of disposal and you can choose the bag qualities as well to suit your needs (eg, if you're highly allegic to dust, can choose the anti allergy bag made of thicker material etc)
  18. @fsunglim Close up of Line console as posted earlier by the hubby. Sorry for taking so long. Do let us know if you need more details.
  19. @ dreaming Yes, the TV console is the one from Grafunkt. So did you manage to psycho Prody into getting it? Re the strut table, it is a good size for me and hubby to work together at the desk. It's the 1.9m Strut table from Bludot in case you're interested in getting it.
  20. Hi, we bought it from Connox.com, you can also get them on nest.co.uk, or nostraforma.com, do shop around for the best prices. If you google &tradition Mega Bulb should be able to find a lot of online shops which carry it.
  21. Dept stores delivery varies bah. I have used Taka and Tangs delivery before and both worked for me. They engaged their own agents to do it. All items arrived intact. Tangs pack everything into a box while Taka packs them into bags and note on their delivery order how many bags is supposed to be delivered. I think the issue is with speedpost. Singpost recently had a lot of issues.
  22. Ppl who shop at Royal Fanco usually know of the place through word of mouth. So that's why Henry the owner doesn't really update the displays, and because he doesn't need to upkeep his shopfront that's one of the way he keep prices low. But okay lah... Buy already then dun need to think too much abt it.
  23. I know Defelio has this or something v similar in his living room, so should not be an issue. You can check out his t-blog for more info. He bought his fan at XTRA.
