  5. the bedroom fans with light kits kitchen common toilet the service yard's windows and grills also up!
  6. electrician installed my lights and fans today.. living room master bedroom
  7. its also a first for me. all fridges need some ventilation for the compressor to cool down dude... no way of putting a ventilation fan because you are not supposed to drill any holes on any of the bomb shelter doors...let alone ventilate it... 200L? so i guess you are putting your 2nd fridge inside? or maybe a wine chiller?
  8. so you didnt purchase a set? since you got both? any particular reason why you chose WMF bread and carving knife instead of Zwilling?
  9. where you buy dude? $40 seems reasonable...
  10. just to check...who installed the fans for you? does it vibrate when it is on?
  11. thanks for the link! i dont know about this vinegar thing also.but i know people used to buy pig fat and fry in their traditional woks before they used it..maybe its the equilivent of a teflon coating? haha...
  12. was the salesperson an auntie? sometimes these tips..only those aunties can provide! those younger generation wont know such stuff!
  13. any particular brand or place i can look for bro? 1 thing i realise..japanese knives rarely see cleavers....
  14. the best bank loan is the one without interest.
  15. i guess it pretty much depends on what you cut often...how you cut and your expectations.. i cannot stand "sawing" if you know what i mean..which means its time for me to sharpen my knife.
  16. logically...if the motors are of the same specs..how much wind it will produce will depend on the angle of the blade and the weight of the blade.. the lighter the blade...the more powerful the wind should be..because it will spin with more speed... so you might be right..because arcylic is not exactly very light...
  17. it is my habit to wash & wipe my knives after using them..like sushi chef haha..so im fine with that i guess.. i also reckon i will cook quite often... the WMF pots i have...sigh..boh pian..buy already..guess i have to take care of them then..thanks for the feedback! i see..thanks! i learn something.. by the way, will professionals sharpen these kind of kitchen knives? i always have the impression they do industrial cutters more.. any recommendations where i can do the sharpening?
  18. hmmm...maybe i should just approach some cushion makers... thanks for the info bro.
  19. you mean these kind? these mats are great! very good quality stuff! i already have 2 of it. i highly recommend it to anyone who has a kid learning how to walk or crawl...even learning the alphabets! it can double up as mattress actually.. what i mean is those kinds used by those baby gyms...
  20. serious? any shop i can go to for viewing?
  21. i know this is a long shot..but does anyone know where to get those solid, pvc covered mattresses and paddings that those kids gym use? not talking about those cheap foam kind which is like a jigsaw puzzle where you fit it together.. i want something well built for my son to tumble around without hurting himself. anyone?
  22. i bought my mattress (no bed frame) and a 3 seater sofa from them.... im quite confident of the mattress's quality.. not too sure about the sofa... fingers crossed..
  23. agreed. it was mentioned in the news before that our piped gas prices quite fixed compared to electricity prices. we always hear electricity prices go up..but seldom hear piped gas go up in prices mah.. but then again...as nimm12 and tuasbird mentioned..we do not know how EFFICIENT is the gas heater compared to the electrical heater.. scarly it take $0.20 for the gas heater to heat 10L of water..compared to $0.40 for the electrical storage heater to heat 20L of water...then its LPPL. i didnt have 2nd thoughts when i bought a storage heater though...never even think of other options like the gas heater or instant heater..
  24. thanks for that alternative view.. i have tried both Zwilling and WMF's knives..and i feel that the weight distribution of WMF is better...feel more comfortable with it.. i checked out the price...2 knives and the sharpening rod will cost just as much as the set itself..might as well get the set..comes with a wooden block to keep the knives too!
  25. thanks for the assurances dude!
