My hubby & I visited the place, there's a sales staff who will follow you, not a comfortable shopping experience at all She is very pushy, even make s remark they have so many items and I still can't find anything I like. Seem I'm the fussy & problematic customer. But their designs are very old fashion and they are not cheap. Wouldn't recommend this place.

We went to Besglas to enquire about Alumix pole system. They are not selling on a per foot run basis, but rather pc by pc. The salesperson has very bad product knowledge, can't even recommend/ provide any estimated quotes. We didn't want to enquire further and left.

Thanks all for your advice. We have paid the 5k deposit, now waiting for HDB 1st appt. We have conveyed our intentions to agent but don't think the agent is on our side/ will inform seller. He just advise us to proceed cos seller can take legal action against us. Will seriously consider as this is a major purchase which we have to stick to for the next 5yrs. We are a first timer young couple buying a house (30+yrs) at a peak price, still need to fork out $ with renovation cos the house is in original condition. Just worried that if we spend all hard earned $ and then the price crash, all our yrs of savings down the drain. Sigh.. Have read through some threads abt seller backing out and there's nothing much buyer can do to them but when buyer back out, they are at the worst losing end.

Think its because of the cea new ruling, must have separate agent representing buyer & seller. Some of the hses that I've viewed are either husband/ wife team or partners. When ur pay is commission based, there will always be ethical issues. I dun believe agent representing buyer will help ask for lower cov cos their comm will be pegged to the higher price they sell. There was once i viewed a condo & my white hat info tells me the agent is owner himself. They are planning to get a bigger unit in same estate. That means he does not need to pay 2% comm when he sells his unit & when he buys the new unit, he still can earn 1% comm.

Hi all, Need some advice. We are among the sandwiched middle class. We have been hse hunting for abt 9mths, viewed ard 30+ hses & finally settled on one that meets our expectations, though it's not the best. We felt disadvantaged as we are not entitled to any CPF grant due to our income ceiling, even stay near parents. We have written twice to HDB but our appeal was rejected. Recently govt announced they will review income ceiling and they warn of crash in private property Price in 2015. This made us very worried and we are thinking of withdrawing our purchase. Had called hdb & confirmed that we can still withdraw before first appt. However she advises us to discuss with owner as they have the legal right to take legal action against us for any losses suffered. Hence, we are not sure if we shld go ahead with our purchase.

Hi, Can I know what the $8800 kitchen toilet package consists of? I saw their ad on the newspaper which incl a 20ft kitchen cabinet. Can I know if there are a lot of hidden costs? Does it include the standard items like hacking, supply & lay tiles, laying of waterproof membrane, build 50mm base for cabinet, washer& fridge, plumbling & installation of toilet accessories, chemical wash & clearing of debris? TIA.
