Hi everyone, I believe everyone is concern when coming to choose their air-con unit for home. My opinion here is not about selecting the brands, but on the supplier/company that you're purchasing from. I bought mine from Creation, price is comparable to Best Tech. My comments on their workmanship is bad (perhaps my expectation is higher), 1st installation on the piping after drilling the walls didn't touch-up exposing the holes. Piping wasn't laid nicely resulted the trunking popped out. Called them up to mend it, but after 2nd and 3rd time, they still done a lousy job covering the holes with white cement. In the end, I got my ID to do it. 2nd installation of the FCU, not installed properly upon request they did some adjustment here and there. After the technicians left, realised there is a crack on the FCU (Might be damage during installation). Too late to call back their office, as it's after office hours. But the office responsded nicely to give me an answer, they did. Waiting to get the cover changed. Maybe they send the lousiest team to install my unit...sighz But Mitsubushi Heavy Industries Inverter is really silent.

So busy with work ..and no time to take pictures during the reno process... A blink of the eyes, my reno is completed le...hahaha So happy!!! Hope to see my neighbours around ya... Hi Aaron, You seems like a Air-con sales person. I have read alot of cross talk between the system and BTU to support how many air-con. Would like to clarify with you on some queries, when it's mentioned system 3. For a price of $2,250. How much BTU is the compressor? Does it include the living room? Let's say for a typical 93sqm 4 rm apartment, 1 air-con in master bedroom, 1 in bedroom 2 and last in living room. So how much BTU is required? Now, alot of companies branch to manufacture air-con when it use to be monopolise by Sanyo & Daikin. What is a recommended brand? Daikin/Sanyo/Toshiba/Panasonic/Fujitsu/LG/Samsung Appreciate your kind clarification. Thanks

Hi Bro Floppy, What hob did you use? I'm lloking for those induction hob, but realise the power consumption is rather high and needs to relay higher amp cable so that power will not trip when high consumption appliances is turn on. Can you advise, pls.

Some follow-up from the defect check previously.. Yeah, everything was done up beautifully! Yesterday went to finalise materials and colour scheme of each room with ID, can't wait to see the progress on my reno begins.... Our 3D drawings will be amended after finalising with the choice of our colour and materials. Here is a sneak preview: Our Living Space;

Hi all Treelodge nieghbours, Envy those who have started on their reno, and moving in to celebrate CNY at the new home We still have to wait after CNY, most reno firm can only start after it as rushing project for existing customers to move in by CNY. Just went to clear up the mess we created when opening house, at the same time do a round of check on defects. Luckily not too much defects, wait to send to BSC to ask them to remedy. Didn't took any photos of our unit, but the pictures have been posted by bro floppy. We have the same floorplan as his. Anyway, the process begun. We had made the choice of our ID, waiting to choose materials and eager to see the 3D drawings.. Our reno will start after CNY loh... Happy CNY to all neighbours!

Hi Rottennuts, We are neighbours, which block are you staying, which unit? My block is 305D, 07-885. We got the same floorplan as yours, but the photo posted seems diiferent, the bomb shelter door should be on the left instead of right lookin from the living area. Happy renovating!

Hello everybody! Been a reader of this forum since decided to move on to a new journey... Well said, like anyone else have been waiting for our new flat since 2008 our ballotting completed. Finally the day has come, the long awaited HDB letter to invite us for the key possession on 4th Jan 2011. So eager to collect it and take a look at our new place!! Went through the same old process, scratching our head to source for good, reliable, reasonable, responsible ID firm. Still haven't decided on 1 yet, but had in mind what kind of concept we want our home to be. And of course, most ppl will believe in whether to consult a Feng Shui master to audit their home. Anyway, we have engaged Master Chang, will share with everyone whether his service is good. Keep posted on the photos after key collection!!
