  1. Just to update. A negative incident occurred during the cleaning up that resulted in some major issues that made me feel as though the company does not like to take responsibility for their subcontractors. Sad to say it's enough for me to think twice about recommending this company.
  2. Just a short update. My kitchen cabinet has been installed. It looks good but some rectification works are needed and they are doing it at the moment. Their willingness to fix issues are commendable. Any problems that I am unhappy about are all attended to. My toilet fixtures are also up and running. The plumber placed the accessories as I have requested and they look well installed. I even asked for my master toilet bowl to be moved slightly and they did it properly for me. As of last night they were repainting and touching up the walls and false ceiling. I talked to their painter last night and I like his attitude. All in all I am awaiting to get my unit completed this Friday. Tomorrow I will check on the works again and I believe it should be up to expectations. I will update again once works are done. At this point in time, I do recommend that those looking for IDs check out XXX. Works are nearing completion and being a very picky and observant home owner, they so far stood up to my standards and show willingness to fix faults. I will most probably post up some shots next week.
  3. Just to share where I bought my products from: Toilet, Bathroom and Kitchen - Iceprice.com Poh Seng Fridge and Air Con - Best Denki Washing Machine, Ceiling Fans and Oven - Ever Jt Sofa - Fullhouse Furnishing Bed and Coffee Table - Sincere (Tradehub) Dining Table - Sincere (Midview) I'll give independent reviews of the various shops soon.
  4. The pros and cons of this company so far is that if my designer was more experienced and careful, a lot of issues could had been avoided. I do like the guy because he is pleasant to work with and is willing to work out and discuss with me issues that cropped up anytime of the day or week without complaining. His attitude is really good but he needs to write down details in a notebook for reference. Their time frame for my project was 8 weeks. It's slightly over schedule but it's no issue for me yet. Those of you on a tight schedule and is keen on X X X may want to get it sorted out from the beginning. For my case, I gave them the time and space to do a good job. So far so good. I don't expect perfection as no human is. I find the company and designers honest people to work with. They generally do what they need to do without trying to squirm out of it. Of course I also faced some trying moments when things don't go according to plan but the main thing is that they actually do take my feedback seriously and worked on resolving all the unhappiness I have. They are willing to listen and make changes accordingly. When the project ends next week, I will give a final update and a thorough review along with photos of my place.
  5. My Tiny Summary: I personally follow the works done very closely as I happened to be very free during the renovation months. These are my observations. Price - Personally I found their pricing fair. It's not the cheapest but it's also not expensive. Also, no GST charged. Designer - Hardworking chap but tend to be forgetful. He has a lot of patience and can handle my fiery outbursts when some unforeseen problems cropped up. His designs are nice and he has the patience to go through whatever you want to discuss. Overall a nice guy to work with. If he visited my unit more frequently, checked the works done more closely, he would had been saluted by me. Maybe I check too often and found rectifiable works first before he does. Workmanship - Tiling works are done nicely. No hollow parts detected and rectification of chipped tiles done promptly and without arguments. Quality of work done considered good. Painting had an issue. But they are going to make good of it next week. The issue was more of a subcon problem than their company problem so I will not say that it's their fault. I will update on this once it's rectified. Plumbing is half done. Toilet bowls are placed and common toilet sink and tapa are installed. Basically, the piping looks good and the fixtures so far fitted are looking ok to me. My master toilet is being outfitted with carpentry for now so more works need to be done next week. Will update again. Carpentry works wise, it's ongoing. My feature wall and shoe rack are up. Workmanship is truly well done. Alignments and laminates are done properly as far as I have checked and I am satisfied. It met exactly what was designed so for that I am happy. Only problem is that the designer forgot about my glass flip up doors for the tv console and it was made of solid wood instead. They are changing it for me willingly and no resistance was detected on the issue. Carpentry for my bedroom wise, not totally satisfactory. Seems like two groups of workers exist that fabricated my living room woodwork and master bedroom wood works. I found lots of chipped laminates all over and some unsealed holes. They are rectifying all of these by next week so I will update further.
  6. Hi all. I actually signed up with XXX early this year for renovation of my EA. Works started in end June period and it's going to be completed soon. I will be posting a review of the company soon. Up till today, other than the usual hiccups and rectification works that occur in any other project, I can say that I am generally happy with the works. My kitchen carpentry is being installed now and some remedial painting is to be done but once everything is up and cleaned, I will also post photos. Meanwhile I will give a tiny summary of the concerns that we home owners usually have in my next post. Thanks!

  8. Oh sorry I didn't check the post for a while. It did come but I had to call up lots of companies. In the end it was Toll Global Express. Tracing number was under another section in iceprice's order sheet. Items came once I made arrangements but iceprice left out some items. But the moment I emailed them, they sent it over quickly. So all is good in the end.
  9. I wish to get in touch with them but I don't know who's the local agent. Anyone knows which company does the delivery once it arrives in Singapore? Thanks.
