  1. Hi bro... thanks for your reply. She suggested using rockwool for each of the area (2 toilets + kitchen)... at 1.2k per area?? Is she nuts? Either that, or she's trying to profiteer... basket. Yar, agree with you. That's why I wanna make sure I over-compensate to reduce the sounds now, esp the MBR piping as my fiancee is a light sleeper. My 1st time renovating, I hope so as well. *fingers crossed* PS: diamdiam... really lives up to his nick, lol.
  2. Recently changed the cast iron pipes in my 30y/o flat to PVC, but it seems that the water flowing sound is more disturbing. As it's undergoing renovation now, my ID is going to box it up soon, so I need solutions quite urgently. Is this product (or eqv.) selling anywhere in SG? Need it quite urgently... http://www.soundprooffoam.com/pipe-soundproofing.html http://www.acousticalsource.com/how-to-wrap-a-pipe.html She's not very knowledgable in this aspect, what are the (other) usual ways to reduce the pipe sounds huh? TIA to any replies...
