My cabinet was done with a gap to the ceiling.. If u are doing similar style, u have to ensure that the electrical trunkings are well hidden. Mine wasn't, n it's rather unsightly.... May have to buy some cottage stuff to cover the trunkings! But maintenance oso problem... Countrylover-sage green is oso nice. We were deciding btw that n French blue too!

hi, i have gotten kitchen cabinet quotations from cottage craft, forestwood and our own id contractor. needless to say, our contractor quoted the cheapest but he is not able to give the design and quality of the kitchen cabinets that we want. in the end, we chose forestwood because their service is prompt and good. seems honest in their opinion as well. the quality of the wood panels are good and quote is lower than that of cottage craft. if u wan, i can pm you my forestwood designer.

hi guys, my wife and i were also deciding whether to hack away one of the walls and combine our masterbed room with one of the common rooms when we bought our resale flat in sengkang. In the end, we decided to hack. Taking into consideration the size of our (her) wardrobe and our queensize bed, we would have left with very little space in our masterbed room. both our parents were against us hacking due to our future family committments (babies, maid etc). however, what we feel is that why should we constrained ourselves to such a small space and leave 2 rooms empty until our baby or babies arrived. even we have 2 children, we will let them stay in a room. i spent my childhood and until tertiary education slping in the same room as my sister and my grandparents! just my thoughts!
