I ain't a salesman, but I wish I am But I am in the R&D and so I speak in a language I know best. Mechanically Miele is superior. They are well built Electrically, they are behind the other manufacturers. Efficiency wise, not even worth the money. Dryers begin their MELS this year. Put Miele against LG consumption per kg, and you see not much difference. From a continent that stressed efficiency, this performance is embarrassing for the kind of price tag. From a manufacturer with 100 odds years of experience to LG probably 10 years of exploring, this is disgraceful. Now, why the **** you wanna own a machine that last you for 20 years? Given today's tech advancement, by today next year, there will be a machine that wash better, save more, cost less. You wanna talk about saving? Wash with hands. That's 3K into your pocket straight away. For the ladies, perhaps you wanna considered getting a LV bag ard 2.2k and 800 for a reasonable washer. I believed you will be happier as well. Let's used a simple analogy. If Miele made computers, what you get 10 yrs ago is probably still working today. You machine should be a 486 or P1. You are so cool. You have a 5 and a quarter floppy. But, do you really want it? Miele, like apple, sell lifestyle, not product. They are companies that invest heavily into marketing, not R&D product. They brainwashed people to perceive they are lifestyle trophies. Do you not understand why Miele last that long? Because technologically, they had not progress much. Parts used 5 yrs ago are still being in use now, probably. Other brands had moved on to concentrate on resource saving appliances. Miele, I really don't know. They hardly advertised as environmentally responsible appliance, do they? I don't know a lot of british, but I know british hate french and german. It's very hard to imagine a british celebrity endorsing brands from either country. But really, I am not against you. Btw, did I also tell you about my grandmother's 30yr plus GE fridge?

I just wanna tell a story. The first washing machine I bought is a brandless machine from a neighborhood store uncle. He is still operating the store, if you are keen to know. It cost me 300SGD plus. It is so **** tech-deprived that I need to manually put and removed water. 18 yrs later, my mum is still using it. I bought her new automated, high tech machine but she still like the old machine. It does not have german engineering, no Japanese innovation, or Korean attractiveness. When your Miele reached this operating age, tell me about it k. Oh, my trusty old machine can do something tha I am sure Miele can't. SOAK. It is true Miele uses better parts. But production cost will not exceed 300 EUROS. But you need to include Mr. Miele and family their annual pay. You need to pay their Board of directors. German engineers. Production workers. And a huge part to the marketing company that made Miele the brands everyone craved. Oh, the pride of home appliances is not Miele. Ask Jackie Chan and Brad Pitt what they are using. Or the other rich and famous. But I am impressed by the amount of time you spend researching Miele. What you said is very simialr to a sales pitch. If you are a Miele sales, then I am really sad Miele going to this level. Else, just enjoyed ur washer k. Sorry if I pichia your lobang.

Horrible Service - Samsung Customer Care
bullwrath replied to Pooh_75's topic in Electronics & Electricals
Frankly, I feel this is the case of Singaporean mentality than poor service. Singaporean always feel consumer is king and expect to be served as one. Have you not realized that your ignoramus behavior is the cause of your frustration? Service center is not the only place you can find remote control. Although I am not a korean appliances fan, their innovation and qualities are almost on par with the Japanese. Their service center is run using Japanese as templates. Obviously, you have never work in a large enough cooporation. Else you will understand their red-tape. Fact is, all service center are not rainmakers. There will be no miracle. And asking for manager is simply ridiculous. What makes you think the manager will care for a remote? If I catch a manager doing that, I will sack him on the spot. Because of your arrogance, you inadvertently delay the reply cause your job officer is now upset. You are lucky you are not complaining about eatery cos I will be laughing at the plausible spit and mucus you had already consumed. I am not mocking you. I just feel the need to correct the wrong impression you are giving others about Samsung. Of cos, I am not a Samsung employee. I am too smart but lazy to be working for Asian. -
Wow, u must be very depressed to write the same story twice. Cheer up mate, it's x'mas afterall. ****s happen, but it won't rain all the time

I am using it for quite some time. No much to complain about. What I can let you know is the OEM is Italian gas hob manufacturer Bertazonni. Most european brands, even the large famous one, carries them. Just look at the way the burners is placed and sized and you will realized they are from the same maker. Basically, italian is on of the major gas hob maker in the world. If you ask me, then value for money.

Recommendation For Refrigerator
bullwrath replied to sunshines11's topic in Electronics & Electricals
You are eyeing Gaggenau??? Phew, the rolls royce of kitchen appliances leh...... Anyhow, energy testing is over-hyped. This is tested under simulated environment and not individual usage. If you overpacked your fridge, the consumption is going to rise due to poor cooling circulation. Most fridge behave the same as there's not many compressor OEM. If you walk on the shop floor, you may observe that bigger fridges tends to have better comsuption then smaller fridge. Hence, get a fridge that you need, be it space constraint, size, or even brand. -

Dishwasher - Is That Really Doing The Job ?
bullwrath replied to MeToo's topic in Electronics & Electricals
Actually water is cheap in SGP. If you check your bills, electricity is the the killer. Anyhow, BOSCH is not too bad Let me know if you need to find out more abt it. -
It's not about the usage. Glass hob is not designed to use once a yr only rite. It's the quality of glass. Sadly, the world is economically driven and manufacturers tends to go for cheaper supplier. Try looking for better brands which still maintain their quality if you can afford it. You are actually very lucky it just cracked. Imagine the glass shattered and sart to fly about

Anyone Knows About Legrand Switch?
bullwrath replied to raincole's topic in Electronics & Electricals
It's a common brand. You can get it easily from any electrical shop. If you don't mind paying a couple of cents more, you can go Homefix. The fun part abt legrand is you can change the color of the cover but you cannot change the contact switch. I am using different color for different room. but so far the classy looking one is metallic bronze -
Anyone Knows About Legrand Switch?
bullwrath replied to raincole's topic in Electronics & Electricals
Legrand is fine. They have safety mark from SPRING. However do note that any electrical wiring, switch or socket should be replaced after 12 - 15 years. For socket n switch, wear and tear for the contacts. For wiring, breakdown of insulation.
