Hi friends78, better ask your contractor to check if your resale flat is currently having overlaid tiles or not, otherwise HDB wont approve, just like what i encounter. Overlay of tiles is to save cost, and of course, in the long run, problems will surface. its better to hack out old tiles and relay new tiles. thats what my contractor advised me. have you confirmed your contractor? if you want contact of mine, you can PM me. I've got quite a reasonable quotation.

i already confirmed my reno works with them, surely have touchups one, minor or major nia. hah! but, on my project schedule, they will handover to me one week early, and consider last week as the 'touch up' week. and, if after i move in, i still need to do some touch ups like wall gena dirty, they will come back still.

Hi Iancheongyl, from what i know, they will still come back for touch ups or any addition works that IF you decide to do much later, my fren has just decided to custom make a small shoe cabinet despite the reno being completed, and he is going to use the cement-effect laminate for it. **** nice lor!
