  1. Hi, just finished reading your post from first to the last page. What I can say is, you have a nice cosy house and your ID did a good job~!! haha.. But really hope you post more pictures, esp the lightnings at the night time. I have bought a standard hdb unit at yishun, layout almost similar like yours but i personally don't really fancy the cove lights as it may become a dust collection area in future.. hah~~ But I really like your LED lights alot, guess it may cost a bomb to me ($68 per set) as I will need more LED lights unless I install a mixture of downlights and LED lights. I also never realised that HDB will install the basin, showerhead and false ceiling in both the toilets for us till I saw your pics.. So I look forward to your pics, take more more okie.. all the rooms and toilets overall layout.. =P
  2. Hi Adah, You have a nice cosy house there. can share with me your quotations also ?? I'm also interested in your LED lights costs.. how you determine the no.s required for your living room. As compared to normal downlights, is it much more expensive ? =) thanks thanks~!!
  3. Hihi... I was deciding between Bosch and Brandt... after reading the reviews, I think I'll get a brandt oven. I'm very much into baking and will bake at least once a week... anything from cakes, cookies, tarts, breads etc. Thogh I don't cook, I intend to when I move into my new house... Can anyone recommend what model of brandt oven should I get? Should I get the basic FE811XS1? Is it good enough for all kinds of baking and perhaps future for my grilling, roasting, etc. Or should I get other models? FE8 is 52 litres. Are there bigger capacity models that I can consider in case I'd like to do a bit of bake sale? My budget is below $2k and I don't fancy self-cleaning technology. Most importantly is the result of baking. Please advise!
  4. yeah, feels that it looks kind of weird from outside if we build the concrete frame beside the wooden frame unless the formica can hide the concrete frame. Anyone expert can give some advises here ?? =)
  5. Yah, you better ask them list out item by item more clearer picture. BTW, you no need the contractors to install wardrobe or false ceiling ? How about the flooring for the living and bedrooms ? All no need to do anything ? =/
  6. haiz, I also spoke to several IDs all have their booths at the expo.. even went down to their nice nice showroom, quotations easily can quote $35k without much things included for a new standard 4 room hdb. SG EVERYTHING is so expensive now, must save $$$.. =( Thats why I have to start looking for contractors now which at least more affordable within my budget which also provide simple drawings. Anyone have recommendations ?? =)
