It's too obvious! You called yourself purple fairy leh. Haha...
-
Purple fairy, soon you will be able to find the unit that you will love! Then you can paint some of your wall purple too, like mine! I like my purple wall.... Hehe..... 😉
-
Your layout is wonderful!! If I have yours, I can do many things..... Hope you will get a good contractor to do nicely for you. I think we are all ard same age as we only eligible to buy recently. Except I went to appeal so I got mine earlier. 😉

Yup, 30% is a lot too.... So it's better to reconsidered lah. If you use good laminate, then the kitchen would look good too. I slept in those hidden bed before. Very scary..... I think it's not worth doing if it's just for guests. Might cost too much for seldom usage and you might need to renovate again when your child are older.

Not sure you believe fengshui but as I know, stove should not be against the same wall as the bed.... But your layout have the master bed against the stove. Secondly, the walking space between the master bed and wardrobe seem a bit small. You sure you want to make the walking space so tight??

My house got no gate and the distributor don't know what to do.... Sometimes they just put at my windows, sometimes underneath my front door and even put on the small table in front of my door. Haha..... Those fully yours will "quai quai" put in this cute envelope.

I thought new flat not allowed to touch bathroom, meaning, you cannot redo the whole bathroom. Not allowed to change tiles but if cabinet, I think it's ok. Secondly, having cement skeleton really long lasting. Really good idea.... And definitely having all Blum is cheaper than 900 per metre. I am paying 200 per feet with better solid surface and Blum so a metre only 600, 30% cheaper.

you mean granite? well, if you want to have black kitchen top, then i think black galaxy is quite good. -
i was a noob and i didn't realised that all these toilet accessories can cost so much.... i paid around $3.3k for everything and it was over budget too. imagine that we didn't buy any "branded" already so much, if branded, easily 10k.

Why don't you do a false tv console slight after the beam then put the sofa against the wall where your tv console is right now.... then from dining table also can see the tv if the pink line after the dining table is a glass panel....

buying new flats also quite risky cos you don't know what you are facing since the flats are not built yet.... espeically those lower floor, suddenly have carpark just looking into your bedroom or living room. but the fun in looking at resale are quite fun!! -
yes, i agreed. initially i saw the tiles was not laid well but after the grout was filled, it was quite nice actually..... so be patient, all will come out nicely.
-
oh i see.... after few years, can re-do. anyway, you say will take into consideration my criteria of choosing flat the next time you buy.

actually i am not "pantang" but then my sis is. she also asked me to look for a house where the family are living happily, marriage good, kids good, career good and money also good. so only those upgrading to be considered, those downgrading also will not be considered. -
at least now you know not everyone in forum are "bro".
-
only 3 regrets? ok lah.... not so bad..... hehehehehe.... i think i have more than you. not sure whether i have shared it. got to relook back at my tblog.
-
don't cry lah... its a good thing.... and anyway, you are at home waiting for him mah.... *hugz*

-
hahaha.. thanks for trying to read my blog. if you don't mind, remember to post some comments. at least make it continually active. hehehehe..... when you go to the steps ceiling, you would know what i am talking abt. too bad you are not near city sq anymore or else i can invite you over to have a look at what i mean.
-
time for me to go orchard then. ya, can keep in the store room too..... good idea!! hahaahah....
-
depends on the condition of the walls and ceilings too. if rock stoned, then they might charge more. but plastering really quite necessary to have a nice smooth wall.... as for your beam, what you can do is do false ceiling.. or else, do steps-ceiling..... i think i talked abt it in my blog.... but i am not sure what page. Sorry, my blog super long... heheheeh...
-
i have been looking at this for a while... but was too ex so i didn't buy it. i should go tangs to get this then. thanks!!!
-
i am smart, huh? you said near good school, and i alraedy knew its bishan. hahahaah.... yup, i am staying at boon keng, very near to your current place. but i guess you haven't move in yet so still very near to me. I think yr budget is do-able lah..... since you are doing laminate flooring which would be cheaper than tiles. but doors and windows are quite ex and plastering also costs a lot. mine plastering also quite a lot cos it was rock-stoned. but no choice.... have to do it.
