plastering only make it smooth, not make it straight. my ceiling is loopsided, one side from floor to ceiling is 2.5m and another side is 2.4m. so the plastering just cover the rock stone but not the difference of 10cm.

Usually they don't cover with tiles but you will have wood behind the cabinet so you won't see the cement. It's a way for them to charge your tiling at cheaper price. Or else they will charge you more for all the tiles and work to cover all in tiles.

ya, really depends on the officer that deal at your area... for mine, it took 3 application to get it approved... all in all, took more than 1 month. but reno can start first... no problem to knock all tiles in toilet and flooring while waiting or approval to knock the wall.... 1st application, approved knocking the kitchen wall, while toilet and MBR wall, was not approved. then 2nd application, approved the toilet but not the MBR. 3rd application only appoved the MBR wall. Really makes me so kan cheong during that time.

i can recommend my aunty.... her time flexible. you can get her to clean your place once every 2 weeks and she charge $12 per hour. usually i get her to come in for 4 hours but another friend of mine also uses her, only 3 hours.

i got it from a supplier i know. you can get it from gmarket. but if you live near me, then i can get for you.... its cheaper as he sell to me cheaper than gmarket (62.90 at gmarket and he sold to me at 56). but if i get for you then send to you, then its not worth for me to do it....

I also use MGL, service wise they are quite good. the only thing is, they are not that cheap if you compared to those that do sales in a car (with all samples in the car) then drive back to JB most of the time. their costs are lower since they do not have a shop but with MGL, their shop is there open daily... so depends on what you want. Cheap then look for those from JB (there are a few highly recommended) more assurance then you can look for MGL

ya, he is mostly alone.. wanting to pass some work to new ID he hired but they do not follow up closely, i think. thus the problem with Terrain1976. referrals are better as the person would usually be more open to share then its easier for him to build the rapport.
