  7. Why write same thing in my tblog?? Haha..... Asking you to comment abt others flats then ppl will comment in yours. Not asking you to write same thing in your tblog in mine.
  8. i went to molecule. none of their clocks interest me at all.. and those that are nice, its about $500-$800.
  9. Mine are something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Royal-7934GWH-Floating-Roundback-Straight/dp/B004SKAU1W/ref=sr_1_68?s=lamps-light&ie=UTF8&qid=1332148424&sr=1-68
  10. the dog is quite cute mah... and NeoBY loves dogs.... but i am a bit afraid of dogs. Not because of their barks or bites, but rather they will come and lick me.... hehehehe..... NeoBY, can you please make sure you keep them in the room when i go over?
  11. you mean point block hdb? these blocks are usually older and only in older estate would have them. you can try around woodlands or jurong area.
  12. my LED spotlight, which i bought to shine unto my painting (so its like in museum where the spotlight will shine on it) costs about $150... it have 3 lights though...
  13. albertchng, why don't you start your own tblog. i see a lot of forummers are interested in your flat, dog and kitchen.
  14. congrats!! i hate moving the most.... but now you got this place, you can stay here as long as possible....
  15. yup, both have its advantages. Everyone thinks toilets are small for HDB so mostly put as horizontal. but the effect of vertical are quite good too..... you have to draw to see the effect... i was drawing and drawing too.
  16. mine are all vertical so that it makes as if the ceiling is higher than it looks. Most ppl put horizontal then the toilet looks bigger..... its all optical illusion.
  17. oh, you never specify its horizontal or vertical... cos usually for wall tiles, its 30x60. unless yours is square (30x30 or 60x60). It makes a different whether you place it vertically or horizontally...
  18. ya, important too for the ID to be there to tell the workers on how to lay tiles.... especially those with pattern. I also discussed with my contractor on how to lay the tiles..... was so exciting..... when tiles are done, it feels like almost complete.
  19. As i know, usually the first day of work, ID/contractor will definitely go to the flat to have a look. its like "opening" ceremony for them.... my contractor told me, he will go knock at all neighbours to tell them there will be renovation going on. at least neighbours will be prepared loh. congrats!! so exciting, right?
  20. Yup, the same as me too. i also don't have top cabinet.... you saw it when you came by.. And i also don't have hood... also not a need..... yes, the flat smells of food but even have hood also will smell of food.... my downstairs cooking also i smells it. hahahaha.. so no difference.
  21. i also don't know any stainless sink that rust.... To me, sink is not something we will replace often.... the same sink used for 20 years also no problem. How it will rust after few months, i have no idea.
  22. Her blinds bought at MGL curtains, along lavender street.
  23. i am using matt white laminate. why you think its difficult to maintain? i prefer matt than glossy cos glossy will see fingerprint everytime you open the drawers or cabinets. Mine is glossy red and matt white. the glossy white have to keep on wiping so that fingerprint marks are not obvious.
  24. How often you replace sink? I prefer it so that the cabinet will not get wet like over mount.
