    Yes very hectic during that few weeks before cny do you got to prepare everything before that. Time to look for contractors/ID and tell them your tight deadline.

    got coll here loh... i didn't know until we started talking about reno and he sent to me his floor plan. and he sent from office email to my personal so i knew we work in same place. hahahaha.... you so nearby, come lah..... blurrykid also nearby.... both of you can choose a day to come by

    when you see in real life, then you will realised its very simple loh.... because its simple, then easier to go on tv cos not much complicated things so they can do whatever they want. hahaaha....

    yup, that is why i think there are not many real ID in singapore. i prefer to call them contractors as they are basically the main con with many sub cons. those very nice usually more than 50k lah..... mine very simple also near to 50k already.....

    just like you go into MacDonalds, firstly you say you want big mac, then you ask the person for advise, then she will ask you what you like to eat, any preference, how hungry are you etc. then you turn around and say, i already said i want big mac. totally not logical at all

    if you have even bother to read my blog, i have put in my electrician number in at least 2 places. i don't see why its difficult for anyone to find it because its definitely not difficult for me to put the number up on my tblog.

    i would have given you if you just say you want to discuss with my contractor. but your 2nd message asking for advise, thus the long questions.

    First of all, welcome to RT. congrats in getting your keys soon. You are right, some ID really 'duh' and some contractors gave ridiculous pricing. I hope you will find a suitable one for yourself.

    yes, i understand why you were not happy with HDB. The officer was rude as you mentioned. i guess when things like this happened, we expect some sympathy and understanding, not more rudeness. i also don't like people that are rude especially sometimes we are not familar with the rules and regulations. hope hdb will apologise and improves itself.....

    Dear forummers, i have been in this forum for months and this is the first time when someone asking for contacts then in pm, asking for advise but in the end the reply was saying that why i want to give advise since i am not EXPERT If in the first place, you DO NOT want my advise, then don't reply my pm asking for advise and using the the "advise" as well! My english is not very powerful but when i see the word "advise" i would of course try to advise. Anyone here can tell me what i should do when i see the word "advise"?

    Its not nice of you and very rude to tell someone off when you were the one that asked for advise. if you didn't want advise from me but from expert, you can tell me so. reason why i ask strings of questions was trying to advise you as you requested.

    that is because your main con get his own sub-cons. what MrsLoo wanted was to get her own materials so to get the main con to coordinate with those is the problem.

    Wow! That's very ex. I do all that plus island, big wiw, 2nd wardrobe, cove and L box, shoes cabinet, platform plus feature wall and all flooring in tiles also abt same cost as u.
