That's nice of your lawyer. As we need to settle the property tax, lawyer says either i pass the money to them then they settle everything for me or else i have to settle it myself there at hdb. I don't want to go all the way to the lawyer's office to settle that property tax loh.... so i went hdb for the completion too. Also good that i went, cos my good seller bought me a philip table lamp as gift for buying the flat. So nice of them!!!

oh... you got prepare fruits for us as well? we are happily chatting away that we forgot everything. AFter that, i keep on blogging and commenting in others t-blog, then mine become more lively. hehehehehe.... now i have 16 pages and my reno only started today!!! I thought all hdb will have the toilets back to back. that way, the piping will be easier and more logical. but after seeing yours, then i realised not all are like that.... so far, all the flats i have been, toilets are back to back. yours is indeed special..... Special design of the toilets, windows in kitchen for drying of clothes, the design of the whole block, the lift landing where you are only one on that floor!!!

yup, big master bedroom i will have if i get the approval to knock the wall. 8 panels so will be nice view... hehehehe

thanks... i like the mbr toilet too... when i saw the toilet do not have any big ugly pipes, it was immediate a plus point for me to get the flat. so, i don't really need to do any false walls or box up to conceal the ugly piping.... heheehe.....

PRE RENOVATION PHOTOS (PART 1) With keys in my hands, i was so happy and went to take some photos of the flat before renovation starts. Here are some photos of the condition of the flat: Master bedroom bedroom 2 which will turn to master bedroom when the wall is hacked master toilet Grout on the wall which are markings done by hdb to show that the wall can be hacked. Thanks to all my new friends in Renotalk!!! i was so happy in hdb on friday afternoon. It was a great feeling....immediately went to police station to change my address on my ic. I was very excited but at the same time a bit sad as my renovation still not settled yet. My walls in my master bedroom are not allowed to be hacked yet. Went to meet the officer in charge of my block and he said that need to resubmit as contractor did not send all info correctly. So tomorrow have to resend and hopefully all things will go through smoothly.

whether its under 3room or 4room, its decided by hdb. So if you bought it as 4room, even if you hack the walls it will still be a 4room. it will not become 3room. your agent got it accurate or not?? how can it be so weird?? you might not get high cov as there is 1 bedroom less but then if buyers like your design, then they won't mind it.

My non fire rated main door is $700 and veneer door is $300. Maybe he is charging you cheaper for other things??
