Great lah.... If u can... Then can look at my Reno too. Haha.... -
You like to play?? Want to join me next week? Looking for kaki leh. Not all flats have same configuration. You got to check to see whether yours is from below or from above. But either way, for 12 floor flats, usually 6th and 7th floor have weak water loh. Hehe....

i don't need to buy another. i am just saying that i don't know the shipping on the website you gave me so i am not sure whether the total will be cheaper or more expensive than what i bought. -
getzski, i am on 6th floor and my water is from below. but i am the last on that pipe, everyone on 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th floor already got all the water they want... so by water come to me, the flow not that strong already loh. but i believe my water pressure is not that bad cos other pipes are ok except for my rain shower. maybe the shower head is too big?? NeoBY, for hdb flats, there are 2 ways to get water. the water tank on the roof and water pipes underground. usually those blocks that are quite high, they will pump water pipes into the tank to service the higher floor. then there will be water pipes from ground being pump up to service the lower floor. so those in between have to see whether they get from tank or from ground. no way!!! i like it as it is.... when i was searching for taps, i saw the same as yours here in singapore.... some of the shops here selling cosmetics are using the same taps... i wanted something different where cannot be found in SG. that is why i bought this...so you think i would want to swop with you??

i bought it for S$70+ incl shipping..... i think was US$50 or so during that time.... all depending on exchange rate of the time and the shipping charges. the link you gave me, i think its quite cheap leh... but i can't find info on the shipping... i really like this tap a lot...hehehe.... -
oh really? hehehe... i didn't know you got read... did you write any comments or not?? ok lah, here is the link to the pic of my glass waterfall tap. http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=36856&view=findpost&p=638285

i am using city gas heater too.... and its quite good... get hot very fast and the problem is too hot. trying to lower the heat but my is the older model so i think the adjustment not as good as this newer model. and i think i am at the last floor where water comes from below, not from the tanks above so the water flow is not as strong as i like it to be.
-
i come your blog to see, you go my blog to see lah.... hehehhehe.... or blog so quiet nowadays..
-
i chose glass type also but slightly different from yours.

PATCHING AND REPAINTING ELECTRICAL CASING I have my opennet installation done 6 months after i moved in. Some of you might already have opennet and some might not have it yet. During my renovation, i requested opennet to install for me so that it would be all done at the same time but it was not possible. So i have asked my electrician, Ah Soon to do something for me. What was done? An extra fake cable are lay together with the rest of the live cables. This cable was pull from my tv console area, next to Starhub tv box out to outside the flat where most likely opennet will have the fiber coming in. This way, when opennet come to install, the real fiber optic cable can be attached to the fake cable then slowly pull it from the tv console until the fiber optic cable appear at the tv console. It is not an easy task as the fiber optic cable is fragile and the distance from outside the flat to my tv console are quite far and have to go through feature wall as well. The first time opennet came by, they are not able to pull the cable to my tv console area. So they left and i have to get my contractor, Andrew to come by have a look. When he came by, he took off a part of the casing, where all the wires are hidden. That way, opennet are able to know which part that make have the wire stuck. Due to this, there are certain part of the casing which has been patched nicely to camouflage unto my ceiling have to be taken off. now i have paint peeling off and filler dropping off. There goes my nice new wall My kind contractor came by yesterday to fill up the gap again and after CNY, he will come again to repaint my wall. He does it by himself without asking a worker to do it. For that, i am quite thankful to him. So even though my renovation ended in Apr 2011, which was more than 8 months ago, he will still come to do some patching and repainting. All these for FREE too!! -
hahahaha.... it doesn't matter if your chinese is bad cos there will be ID that have good english. then will be easy for you to talk to them. very important to be able to communicate what you want. its just small thing.... give number only mah. how difficult can that be?
-
If u want someone that can speak English well then no choice loh. He is who he is.... Cannot really speak English well. There are tons of contractors / IDs so u can slowly look.
-
wow, then its quite far. not convenient for you to go to work then. you need to take lrt then mrt to dhoby ghaut then change to orchard. unless you are driving lah... then its different story.
-
is it near mrt? nothing is ulu if near mrt loh... hehehe...

i am looking for kaki to play next week... anyone interested?? I can host a smoke free environment, wine and tidbits provided..... all for good fun!!
-
Andrew so contradicting!! last time i wanted higher, he says cannot cos HDB don't allow. now he told you that it can be done!! Next time i see him, i must scold him already.... hehehe.... So, are you going to choose Andrew? i thought you still thinking and deciding?
-
Hahaha.... isn't it obvious why i like singles buying home and renovating them? cos i am single also mah. hehehehe..... and you got a 5 room at better price than my 4 room. Yup, i don't like to go those flats where there are tons of people trying to outbid one another on the COV. Your agent is really good......
-
I always like to see singles buying flat and then renovating them. So nice to get such a big place like yours!! Congrats!!
-
I agreed.... not all reno will have overrun. mine was within my initial budget set out, just that i told my contractor my budget was less.... so that he will not charge me too much. And any additional that i wanted, my contractor was willing to provide FOC for me. So, reno can be within budget if you set the right budget for the right items you wanted. But as HDB ruling is, do take note that HDB have a lot of rules so you better get yourself familarised... like the platform thingy....

Very nice unit!! totally worth it..... cos i think by 5 years, i am sure you can sell it for more than 800k..... your loft unit and another one i saw are slightly different. Yours have open terrace..... really nice place for kids.... now i am curious to know where else have such units.
