A lot of those recommended will get very busy. It's quite normal cos a person only have 24 hours a day. If it doesn't work then find another person. It's all based on luck as well.

I don't knwo where you putting your sofa, your drawing only show dining table and tv. So i thought your sofa would be against the wall opposite the tv which you will be able to see once you walk in the main door. You need to check whether there are enough space for you to have the track light and fan.. to me, ceiling fan is very important.... so if your sofa is not against the wall but halfway, then option 2 of track light behind sofa and a ceiling fan would be good. Then pendant lights for dining.... no need another track light against the TV lah. waste money!!!! and you don't spend a lot of time in living room too. -
How to change doors? no fun changing light bulbs lah.... you can try to change the design of the lights loh.. hehehe...

you won't want the track lights to be shining on you when you are at the sofa. its not good for your eyes... and also, what do you usually do in the living room? if you are sitting there to watch tv, then i think would be bright enough. if you need to sit on the sofa to read, then might not be bright enough. -

What about option 3? Having pendant light for the dining table, then track lights like in Option 1 with fan and a row of track light near the windows. no need for the other track light near the dining table. -
Ya, I am all in for practicality! That's why my flat very simple and practical so I can clean easily. Hehe.... Do build in beds and sofa then you won't be able to shift those around too. Haha..... Hope everything will go smoothly!

Haha.... Move furniture every 2 months? Repaint every 2 years? Ok ok.... Then I hope you will renovate to what u and your family loves that you won't move like that for a long long time. Hehe.....

Hi Elise, congrats in buying yr own flat. I bought mine under single scheme too. Yes, u would need to change the PUB to your name on the completion day ie 2nd appt. after sign everything, just go to Singapore power office inside hdb bld at tpy. Everything will be done then no stopping of power or water. You would need these for reno. Your ID or contractor will know whether need to switch off fb box. No need to worry abt such some details. Most importantly, change the name to yours when u are at hdb office. Take less than 15 mins to settle. -
I heard cash converter have. But no time to go have a look yet. Thanks! I will try search...

Inverter and non inverter not going to make much different, maybe 500? It's better than overloading. -
Question On Electrical Works
May_dream1 replied to Gymrat76's topic in Housing Rules, Policies and Procedures
It means you cannot install aircon without applying to hdb. But if your resale flat already have the point for aircon then no need to apply. Electrical loading is done centrally. The higher capacity have to be upgraded by hdb for whole block. If your block have never been upgraded, nothing you can do about it. You mix the application for aircon point to application for higher loading. -
Looks great!! Excited for u!!

You current place looks so clean and new. What you plan to Reno?? Haha.... Maybe kitchen cabinet is old design but seem still very good condition leh. Hehe.... Especially the marble flooring! I love marble.... But no money for it.

Front load is better for clothings, gentler and cleaner cos it have hot water feature. Top load do not have hot water unless you pipe in hot water from your storage heater. Not sure abt top load so cant really advise you. But usually ppl will buy front load so that dryer can stack on it.

Definitely more worth it than buying off the shelves tv console, right?? Hehe.... How much u paid?
