Well, my LBox at my kitchen was only $300. so if add in 3 lighting points and install and buy lights by electrician, was another $200 so total only $500. Of course more ex than track lights.... but definitely not $900 loh... maybe your contractor don't know how to do Lbox without doing false ceiling?

So, i don't use it too much on other surface except for my solid top and my hob.

mine crawl from windows.... and some hole at ceiling and grout lines... but after i let them "eat" the baits, they never come by anymore... instead, now comes from the rubbish chute so i put more baits around the rubbish chute..... at the moment, there are no ants for a while. Oh ya, for those coming out from grout lines, what i did was paste the grout lines with colgate. then they all "died" inside, i think. hahaah....

i use hot water sometimes.... what other methods you have? Then don't think so much.... i am sure it can last you for at least 5 years and after that, you can change to quartz or maybe move to condo

25 downlights are not that many lah.... i have 12 too but i have a lot of cove lights as well.

hahaah... at least she let you put in storeroom leh.... if i get married and he moves in, i will not share my WIW with him too... and no storeroom for him as well cos its full of extra chairs, mahjong table and a lot of other stuff.... so totally no place for his clothes at all. maybe can try to squeeze a small drawer for him in my 12 drawers WIW!

mine baits are not in cans... they are in small pellets.... i think you need those! hahahaah.... those ants at my flat don't like my alkaline water leh.
