I like that textured one..... very resort feel.... I think Andrew learnt some stuff from me too. I was the one that told him i wanted to test the tiles with water. Then he was looking for water for me to pour on the tiles as he never done this before. I guess after that, he always recommend his customers to do test that way. hahahahaha..... are you doing kitchen flooring as well? if you are, please remember to take the sample tiles and go home, pour some stuff on it like soya sauce, oil, ribena, red wine etc etc on the tiles. leave it for a day or two then try to wipe of with cloth. see whether the tiles will have stained or easy to clean off. if its easy to wipe off with cloth, then next time when you mop, will be easy. if its very difficult, then most probably in future, you need to scrub and scrub the tiles.

if cover with glass, then it would be another layer which might be thicker than the counter top. might not be easy to maintain or install.... weather not good, so hot then suddenly rain like crazy. -

Because the colour is quite dark so must dry properly before can paint another coat. Or else it will be uneven..... So choosing such dark colored must have patient cos will need many many layers. -
very easy, take the so called crystals and shine a white light against it. the crystals will make the white light shine out a rainbow coloured lights. that is real crystal and only crystals can do that. Glass and plastic cannot.

actually i thought once you ignites the sparks, all will be ignited. last time i used another brand at my previous previous place, also like that. and its electric ignitor, not battery. so i thought its all the same, whether its electric ignitor or battery operated. -
just teasing you lah.. you so kind, translate for me. hehehee....
-
wah, it says real crystal beads leh... so now you didn't get real crystal so seller cheat you loh.
-
then maybe its glass loh... at least glass more valuable than plastic. if plastic, $50 is not worth it lah. if glass, still not too bad. and God didn't create google.... heheehe.... God created man, smart man to have the creativity to create google. and God also created kind man, to translate chinese words for me.
-
sorry, cannot read chinese so i don't know.... crystals have quite high hardness. just like diamond is the hardest, crystals rank quite high too. so to cut crystals cannot use normal toos. if plastic, then it should be quite light. if glass, then will be heavier loh....
-
china can get cheap crystals... hahahaha.... no need branded crystals but cheap one should have bah....

for jotun, their specialty is mixing the colours. That is because, they won't need to premix it then put in can. then for each shades or code of colour, each shop have to keep at least few cans of the same. but if mix using the machine, then they only need to keep basic colours in the shop and the rest are all mixing. its a different way of doing loh. -

then do they let you mix the colours to the shades you want? have those machine as well that do the mixing? whether its common or not, if picked from catalog, then no need to mix at all loh. We will know once the actual coat of paint is painted lah.... don't make him panic now. heheheeh... -

if its in the catalog, then there is no need to mix the paint. i would think that all paint have to be painted on white wall to achieve the same colour as the catalog. i remembered when i was young, there is this brand called "jotun". Almost all the shops that sells this brand have this machine where you can mix the paint to achieve the colours you want. so they have a chart of all colours then when you choose, they will adjust the machine to that shade you want then voila!! the colour you wanted is poured into a can. quite interesting actually.... cos i was looking at them doing that when i choose the colour to paint the living room of my house (parents' house). i think they still exist in malaysia but not here. -
courts just the retailers. they will get the supplier to do delivery and that is why the deliveries always have problems cos 1 sale could have many many deliveries. its not like the suppliers will send all to courts then courts send to you. really headache one....
