i got 18 double sockets for my tiny 4 room flat that have become 2 bedrooms. so i don't think 27 is that much leh. hahahaha..... cos you have extra 1 room and you have living room for tv etc which for me, i only need the power sockets for my tv, mio etc, in my bedroom. no 2 tv mah... so i would guess you would need abt 6 more than me which is 24 or so. so not much different from 27. hahahaha...

cannot imagine how much power sockets you wanted. and try to negotiate too!

i don't like leather sofa leh..... and tonight i am going to malaysia so not possible for me to go for the sales. if they have annual sales, then maybe next year loh. and asking me to go all the way to near tuas?

ya ya... i also grew up with ceiling fans and when i came to sg, really cannot take it that most flats do not have ceiling fans. so i die die also must have ceiling fans.... and i always remind my friends not to raise their hands as the ceiling fans are right on top of them. ok, pm you right away.

left is hot lah... hehehe.... instant heater not hot enough leh.. and doesn't look nice in toilet. hahaa....

i think now is too late to install so don't worry abt that. 4 standing fans not enough. go get more!

ya lah, i find that reno done on time and everything done nicely, its already good. the fancy fancy stuff, we can diy or buy things to decorate our own flat. Well done!!

the gas heater definitely have to be at service yard or kitchen. depending on the layout of your flat. if you have service yard, then will be there. if not, will be in kitchen. i am not sure his common room or master room that have windows flowing to the service yard. Assume its the common toilet. ignore where the gas heater is. The problem is the windows. When we shower with hot water, sure will have vapour, right? The vapour will go out through windows. then when the vapour flow out of windows, then its not outside the flat but into service yard where there is another set of windows, the vapour will hit the service yard windows and condensation will happen. Cos the air outside is cooler than the hot vapour. he can actually adjust the hot water not to be so hot so less vapour will flow out but he says he like hot hot super hot water.

then make it hotter so that the Master toilet have the right temp loh cos most of the time you use it there mah.... but pipe distance shouldn't be so far apart leh. hhmmm..... what abt the shower head?

you must be quite tall... hehehe.... handy to have around the house. actually, you can have ceiling fans lah. just don't raise your hands when you are near the fans loh. after a while, you will get use to it. i have a friend that is nearly 1.85m and he says he just get used to it not to raise hands near the fan.

hahaha.... hdb ceiling is like that. normal is 2.4m or 2.5m. only if you are at top floor, then maybe it can be 2.8m. even i am not 1.8m, i also cannot raise my hands or else, my fingers might get cut too. but i cannot live without ceiling fans any longer.

you mean the aunty that does ironing only? i think her normal rate is $12 per hour. but that was 2 years ago lah. now i am not sure. you can try to ask her. if you want, i can pm you her number.

those that go petrol kiosk to buy usually is in urgent need or else is buying on impulse. cos usually will go bigger store like courts or ntuc xtra so that can compare models and prices. that is why its more ex. hahahaha..... i used to have 3 standing fans also, 1 person with 3 standing fans. so i decided for my own flat, i will have ceiling fans so less standing fan. in the end, i only keep 1 standing fan from my previous place.

what is so good abt the LG tv? more and more buy online.

beluga is the one that have a lot of water condensation. That is because, his common/master toilet windows faces the service yard. So the hot water was flowing out from the windows to the service yard then condensed around that area. it was not due to the gas heater that was installed at service yard. it also means that the gas heater can have very hot water and so much steam that it can flow out from the windows to the service yard. for me, i like the easy usage of gas heater. every time you on your tap, hot water will flow out in less than 10 secs. if you use electric storage heater, you might need to wait around 10 mins. if you use instant heater, the hot water will not be hot enough. But the only problem is adjusting to the heat you like. its more difficult to adjust.... need trial and error but once you get it, try not to adjust the heater temp anymore.

i do a few more things on top of what you did: 1) Pretend to use toilet and test the water pressure at the sink and toilet flush. 2) See the communication between husband and wife. If both always ard when you do viewing and they discuss stuff, then at least you will have a smooth purchase instead of both having issues which might affect you. 3) Go to every corner and every rooms there is, just in case they are hiding some things out of sight. 4) Buy the floorplan to see any changes made to the flat versus what is the record of floorplan with HDB. THis is important if you intend to hack, and you might want to find out from HDB officer whether its prefab walls which cannot be hacked. 5) not only asked neighbours abt the family that are selling, but rather, talk to the neighbours and see whether you can live with them around you. we live in flats which are so close to one another, its always good to make friends with them.

whatever price is shown on the tag, if you go without contractor, you can bargain much lower. but if you go with contractor, maybe they will discount 10% or so.
