problem for Aya is she is not sure whether the painter did mix her paint with water. so the colour might be different. and there are no leftover paint too so she have to buy another can.

Now try to apply again then if unsuccessful, then go to "meet the MP" session to ask the MP (and his team) to write a letter to ICA. I think when ICA invited her to apply during JC, that must have been a while ago since she continue on with university and working. So i don't think there will be any problem now.

its not the plastering that will make the crack cos plaster is not that thick. its those hollow blocks that will give the crack. i do not have crack anywhere except the wall to my storeroom that were rebuilt with hollow blocks.

that was the "guarantee" given by my contractor too that buying lightings from the shop they recommend, will have better service. thank goodness nothing happens to my lights so far. or else, i sure will scold my contractor. hope it will be rectified soon. but having the problem for a month? you really patient to wait till they come to rectify even though after weeks of delay.

your contractor didn't tell you this will happen? its very very common for all hollow blocks new wall will have this problem. so, must spare some paint for patching.

hollow bricks will have this problem. its normal..... mine happened too but my wall is white colour so i just use the paint and fill in the gap with thick paint. But for your colour, if you repaint just that cracks, will be very obvious. as taichipanda said, maybe fill with silicon then repaint the whole wall, not just the crack part.

the wife reject the PR or ICA reject the PR? if the wife reject the PR, this time might be slightly more difficult. if ICA reject then this time round, might be easier. if got problem to go MP and tell the MP that really want to get PR. hopefully the MP is not hougang.

this door is at master toilet or at common toilet also? both toilets? if master toilet, then no guests will come in and out lah.... so nothing to worry. my master toilet is clear glass door + panel (no wall to bedroom), i also not worried cos once i am in my bedroom, my friends etc will never come in. hehehehe....

if the wife have been here for so long, should apply for PR now. Easily get PR for sure since uni also in SG and working here. get PR will take less than 3 months then can start to apply for new flat or buying resale. buying flat, might take 1-2 months to go viewing, then depending on seller, whether they want to delay the purchase as they want to find another flat to buy so all in all, it might take another few months. go apply PR immediately, then slowly go view flat. if lucky, the PR might be approved in 2 months.

the half-lourve bi-fold door definitely look suitable with the subway tiles lah. if this is in the master toilet, then no need to lock it. just close the door when you are doing your business or shower lah. its just your hubby that will be in the MBR. If this is the common toilet, then you will not use that much unless guests come. so i think the lock will be able to last.... maybe before the door spoilt, you will move to another new flat.

really? mine is quite ok so far.... maybe there are not so much wind in my place. PD door also similar quality like bi-fold door. but i think it will not open or close by itself since its "locked" on 1 panel. you using bifold in your master toilet too? why not glass swing or sliding?

sound like a dream reno leh..... can stay in service apartment, enjoying life while andrew is stressed with your reno to make sure everything is done properly and on time. hahahaha....
