most people uses excel. Andrew uses that when owners never specify the brand. for me, i use blum only cos i cos i don't like excel. tried that at andrew's office and its like what you said.

1) OTP have a few copies, one kept by you, one by seller and another to submit to HDB. If you write the date and valuation price on the OTP, other copies do not have the same info, no use 2) no price and date, no way you can fight even with lawyers. Its all based on gentleman's agreement but one back out, nothing much you can do. I am sure the seller knows it so they not worried but get agent to market the place. 3) HDB can only say, why you sign the OTP without price and date? 4) look for another flat loh. the seller back out and no black and white, very difficult to fight. these are what i know of the rules when i went to HDB resale seminar lah. i am not agent so i can't advise much also... hope you will not get too stressed up by this.

i think he wants to have a lot of down lights + cove lights... not sure why he wants to have so many. small study room have 6 downlights plus 8 cove lights. living room is even worse, 10 downlights with 16 cove lights. really really a lot. can light up 2 x 4room flat.

mine started the installation on tuesday (supposed to be monday but was delayed 1 day) but by thursday, all done as well. so i think should be ok for 2-3 days of installing all cabinets. its the tiling that took the longest time.... and after tiling, then seem like nothing much and suddenly everything is ok. scared me so much during that last few days
