hahaahha.... no lah, i tried all ways, none work as good as this way...... i have been thinking abt my kitchen since the day i got the floor plan. that is like 2 months already!!! please please don't suggest anymore cos my brain cannot take it anymore... hahahaha..... hhmm.... my brother's kitchen is as big as my living room actually....

i have been using persil for the past 7 years in sg. i know some other local brands washing liquid also started to have front load liquid but i prefer persil as i also used it when i was overseas. persil is quite gentle, so should be ok for infant wash too.

yes, when i went to my friend's house, i cannot believe how small the kitchen is. i should take some pic of my brother's kitchen for you to have a look. hehehehe....

then no need lah... fall also fall down to your own area downstairs..... just 1 floor only. then don't waste the money. no need grille....

only 1 pipe that goes from the toilet bowl to the common toilet on the ceiling only..... i will take lots of picture when i get my keys then you can see what i mean. ya, trying to see how to make it a nice island cos the part of the island into the living is actually a dining table. the part where its in the kitchen is where there are space for food preparation. I know what you mean by putting shoe cabinet parellel to main door and make it like a walkway/foyer? hhhmm...... then there will not be enough space between the foyer to the island.... too tight liao...

oh... 80cm is really quite small leh... imagine if you need to bend down and might know here and there... bed to wardrobe still ok as bed is low. but sink to wall, i think its a bit tight.....

I know where marsh is from.... i know what she meant by kitchen as big as hdb toilet.

Basically I wanted this idea so that I have enough preparation area, as u see that the stove and sink area against the wall is quite small. Cos I might buy bigger sink. I am giving at least 110cm of walking space. Nothing is less than that as I like space when I walk, not cramp into 80cm. My contractor says there are enough for that 110cm walking.

Pls ignore the numbers cos I don't know how to remove them. And when I was drawing, it was showing the right meters but after that, it's all over the place. The numbers doesn't correspond to the right items. My reservation? Come in main door see kitchen. A bit not nice...

1) yes the floorplan is to scale and the items are more or less. Will relook again. 2) the clearance can be adjusted but what I am worried abt is the island for the kitchen. 3) the best thing abt this flat, no pipes in master toilet. Only the one for toilet bowl which not affecting anything. As for the beams, already flushed in with the rest of items.

This is my first try on the floorplanner so not sure whether i did it correctly or not. but that is about what i want to do for my flat.

Did you do plastering of the whole house? after doing plastering, then its easier to have even painting. Or else, the painting will not be as smooth.... not that they want to do it that way. But on door frame and bathroom pipes should be quite easy since its not big piece of wall.... hhhmmm.......

don't know leh, of course we all hope for the things to last as long as possible but i also heard that every 5 years might have to do a simple reno. i don't want ot think abt that when i haven't even start my 1st reno.

Thanks, rmgthatsme. my kitchen is not that big, don't think any hdb flats are. that is why for the island, its more for the illusion of space. which i am not sure it can be achieved. will let the id draw the 3D for me to have a feel.

yes, i agreed that having fruits and vege and drinks at eye or arm level is definitely easier than having freezer at eye level. most of the time you open the fridge is not to get frozen items....

mine was opposite, most of the time they say cannot this cannot that. seldom tell me it can be done.

i guess depends on how you put in the mosiac. But i will not be putting it as i find it too hard to clean....

Significant Day God is never too early, never too late. From the day that my landlord told me that i have to move out, God has led me to purchase my first home, despite hdb having all kinds of ruling for singles. The timing was arranged in a way that my completion date also coincided with my church moving date. My leader will go with me to pray over the house when i get the keys and thereafter, we will be going to our new church hall to pray over the church too. All in the same day! Words cannot describe how i feel as I find that God really works in ways we cannot understand. Just as what the bible says, build MY house and I will build yours. I can't wait to see how my house will turn out to be since God hands is in control of it. It will be more than what i can think or imagine!

some of the sales person selling me things or when i was looking at things, told me quite a bit too. so i know a bit whether certain things are allowed by hdb or not. and coming here also helped a lot. hehehehe...
