Buying items in Malaysia Since i am in malaysia for CNY, i thought i can go look around here for the lightings, sanitary wares and curtains which might be cheaper than buying in SG. So, yesterday went scounting around with my brother since he knows quite a few shops of such stuff. First stop, went to this big shop that sells almost everything that a contractor would need.... taps, sinks, kitchen cabinet accessories, tiles, and i don't know what else on the 2nd floor. Saw bath tubs, jacuzzi, standing massage system for shower etc.... the choices seem more than SG. But after looking at so many taps, i have yet to see anything i like. and the prices are not exactly cheap too... maybe the prices stated there is before discount as my bro told me they will give him discount. Since this is first time i am looking in malaysia, i thought to leave it at that until i am more confirmed. Next stop was the curtain shop. The sales girl shown me few booklet of materials that might be suitable for me. after an hour plus, managed to find what i needed. So she will quite me after CNY. If the price is worth it, then i might get from her or else i will ask from the recommended here... Mr Chew and another from JB. As its too close to CNY, the lighting shop have closed for CNY. Especially with the raining the past few days, a lot of places are flooded. Can't go to many places as well.... will go back SG to research on lightings again.

My sis also asked me to get EM cos its bigger and bedrooms are separate from living/dining. but thinking abt the cleaning also want to faint... hahahaha.... but i am different lah... only 1 person staying.... hehehee.... so 4 room is enough for myself. i thought you have more or less confirmed who you will be using. if you are not in a rush to move in, then i guess you can slowly take your time to choose.

its the car park so not neighbours only you can have conversations with.... anyone that park at higher multi storey carpark can all have fun together... hahaha....

i intend to get dining chairs.... their chairs looks very nice... since my table is built together with my island, then there is no need for me to have table.... only need to get right chairs for my design. for wardrobes, i prefer built wardrobe, as its more sturdy.... maybe i have bought too many cheap ones that spoilt easily.... so prefer built in for my own flat.

Yes yes... very easy to read and understand.... so you are the 2nd owner? for bigger flats, usually the COV is less as the valuation already quite high... that is what my agent told me.... and the highest COV is usually for 4 room flat as that is the most popular. when there are competition so higher the COV. i don't think 27k is very high.... we have to see the market now.... vnot easy to get low COV if near to MRT. i thought you have more or less confirm the renovator?? some of the doors and windows if can keep, then keep it.. really can save a lot. i am saving some doors and windows too.. initially i thought its in bad shape but if clean it, i can see that it can be nice too..... touch it and feel quality of it... those by hdb during that time can be of very good quality too.

even though it can look big on 3D but then when you have it real in the flat, it could look just nice or else the place will be very cluttered.... i think it looks just nice....

i like the shower area of the common toilet.... so resort like.... hhahaha...what kind of wall tiles you use?

don't worry too much about it.... most of the time, it will work fine so you might not need to call the service centre at all.

really ah? then i better go and have a look before april. saw some stuff i like the last time i went there but then didn't really order anything yet. shall go and see again....
