Hhmm... i don't think its to do with RC or beam. My contractor also don't know. I managed to call the hdb officer in charged and he says that the floorplan is not clear enough to state what is going to happen after demolition. So will go over tomorrow to meet the officer and see whether it can be done or not. no, i will not consider not able to hack the walls. I asked my contractor and he says that he will start hacking of the kitchen and toilet first. can start tiling of these 2 places while getting the approval. At least the wall between kitchen and dining is approved so the hacking on that part can be done loh....

Don't know the reason yet. I haven't call the officer.

Marsh, what if its granite top but not black in colour? i am thinking of changing from solid top to granite but i want really light colour since my theme is red and white.
