My tiler is from china and his work is really good... he did the drop without any problem and he managed to do the shelf for my seater in very smooth and good quality. Its not easy as tiles can crack easily when its cut in odd shaped.... and if you look closely to the floor tiles in both toilet, the tiles covering the piping are done so rounded and well!!! So, its the quality of the workers, not the nationality!!

then RT will be similar to hardwarezone. i was thinking of going Audio house to confirm my WM plus maybe have a look at the TV.... this is just nice... i am at suntec every sunday anyway.

That is the same as what happened to me!!! The officer says the contractor didn't specify properly what is to hack..... so i have to use what i draw on floorplanner and send to my contractor so that when they submit, to submit what i drawn too so that the officer can see properly what was my plan. it was ding dong here and there..... but i don't care lah. As long as it gets approved in the end.... cool down and no point getting upset with your contractor. Most importantly, settle the issue, not get upset and start blaming yourself or the contractor. and also, women speaking to men/women, usually can get things done. don't know why... hahaha...

Yup, i am quite happy and i just make appointment for city gas to come install water heater as well. after the floor tiles are up, i think it will look much prettier... hehehehe.... i already got a lot of comments from my new neighbours. all so shocked at what i did to the flat. Today super busy, no time to go see leh... tmr will go so no pic today. yes, the shelf at shower area will get wet. That is why if its made from tiles, its easier for me to wash... it its glass shelf, then i cannot scrub them! but i don't like those wire-mesh shelf as it will not make the toilet having resort feel.... anything metal will spoilt the look.

RENOVATION DAY 12 : PICTURES As promised earlier, today is the day where they installed windows for my flat. I am amazed that it took them such a short time to dismantle the old windows and put up the new ones. Also on saturday, the tiler also did the common toilet flooring..... realised its really done very well..... like the grey flooring.... was a bit afraid it might be a bit too dark but now, looking at it, doesn't seem dark at all. Very satisfied at the moment and happy that the new tiles are finally here. Tmr onwards, they will do the floor tiles. Can't wait to see everything done up for the flooring.....

glass cabinet?? hhmm..... more things for me to clean? hehehehe.... i think if can, i will ask the tiler to make another shelf for me.

plastic stool and bench made from the same tiles as your toilet have a lot of different leh..... but depends on how much your contractor going to charge you for the bench lah..... for mine, he charging me $240 which i think its quite ok. huh? got stool that have a big hole? i imagine those stool for elderly that cannot squat down so put those stool with hole for ahhemm.... to do "big" biz only leh... hehehe....

my budget?? no budget for the moment.... until my reno are done then i will know whether i can buy a new tv or not. if not, will use my old tv which is 42" until next year bonus loh.

the officer in charged of my block is quite easy to find leh.... his office phone are being diverted to his mobile so sure will be able to get him. i feel its the opposite, those old uncles or aunties at hdb, prefer to speak rather than email leh.... hehehe....

ya loh, display set have been touch and moved around... might have scratches everywhere. how to compare to new set?? ya, its pretty amazing to have 70" tv. that's why i wanted 60" but been to a few places to see but then cannot afford... haiz....

Marshy, once you are used to 42" then you will want bigger. But once you are used to 55" then you want even bigger. My bro in HK have a 70" TV..... previously he have a 60" then upgrade to 70".... i wonder whether he will buy 100" one day... hahahaha....

if yr wife wants it, then let her have it. its a good idea anyway.... heheheeh....

if i put outside of the toilet, i sure to forget to use it..... that is why i need it to be inside the toilet so that i can look at it in the face then only i will use it.... lazy and forgetful so better to have it stare at me all the time.

I know how you feel.... the same for me too when my application to hack my bedroom was not approved. Just keep on calling the officer loh.... ask your wife to call, maybe a woman speaking to the officer will make him move his butt??

Am i the only one?? I am not sure leh.... but that was in my mind all these time to have this. hate to sit on the toilet bowl when i need to exfoliate my feet.... hhehehehe..... Magazine racks? might think abt it... but nowadays i usually read my iphone instead of mag... hehehehe... i am scared of the glass shelf will collapse too... that's why i have to think hard on what to do to have shelves. So finally decided on this.... i think the shelf is quite nice and the tiler says even if i want to sit on it also can... hahahaha.... so i think its quite sturdy!! Ely, again i don't believe your big toilet cannot fit in a seater.... hahaaah......

my sis and bro also screamed at me when they saw all the bottles in my toilet. but its my toilet, they got no say... hehehe.. for you, no choice lah. you sharing with your hubby...

we do have quite a few things in common... hahahaha.... i don't have so many shampoos though... abt 3 types, those for daily use, once a week use x2, then conditioner x2, facial wash x2, facial scrub x1, make up remover x2, body cleanser x2, mouth wash, toothpaste, shaving cream, after shaving cream, hair mask, hand soap, body scrub, body salt..... exactly 20 bottles!! hahahah.... and the thing is, i use them at least once a week... some i use daily.... morning i use different body cleanser, and at night i use different... the same for facial wash too. so to limit them to less bottles, doesn't seem possble. that is why i ask the tiler to make the seat for me.... so that i can sit down to enjoy my rain shower + putting mask + exfoliate my feet..... so the seater is a good idea?
