It's at soon bee huat that I got the floor tiles.

yup.. this tile got a bit of shimering.... let's see whether the end result as nice as i hope for. hehehehe.... hhmm.... should be plastering works which will take 3 days. then will be city gas, aircon, electrical and plumbing all to be done next week. following week will be carpentry to be up.... should be on time!!

oh... my mop are not microfiber type..... i am using this special mop i bought from OG. made in japan, it says. not sure true or not. but i might hire temp maid to help me clean the house loh.... cannot take it lah.... so busy at work then want to keep house clean.. haiz.... thanks thanks.... i also hope that everything will be done nicely!! tiles is what we see everyday.... at least carpentry, if don't like, can still change. but tiles more difficult lah....

what i did was doing a lot of automation. once he choose "kitchen" then full list of items works to do for kitchen will come out for him to choose. once he choose the work, then picing will come out automatically again. that way, he no need to worry abt typing wrong spelling or quote wrongly. Also i have options for him to select different levels of clients so for eg, those returning clients, different pricing, recommended clients different pricing and walks in different pricing. but all these are just indicative. He still can change pricing if he wants by doing it manually..... it will save a lot of his time and his other workers time.

Martin, sorry if you think i am being kay poh here. I don't engage ID note or Henry but i also have my share of problems with my contractor. Things like error in submitting form to HDB making the hacking delayed, no 3D drawing even though was promised, seater in master bedroom toilet was smaller than what i wanted etc etc. So if you are not happy, then just go tell Henry off!! By screaming and shouting at marshmallow or supersimon27 are of no use!!! They didn't recommend Henry to you and me being friends to both of them, i find that you are very rude. You do not know them personally, why you must say words like "family members being raped"!!! I hope you will take back those words

you face the problem that i did.... have to rush down to SBH to rechoose the tiles. Lady_R, your progress is really fast leh.... faster than mine even though yours are bigger. although we both faces the same problem with hdb approval to hack walls.

the excel have the header as the logo of the company leh..... how to "sell" to other contractors? need to replace it lah.. hehehehe.... some contractors have good admin staff that can do good template then no need for me lah...heheheh.e...

Seem like your contractor did call the officer and said a lot of things. That is why she called you this morning.... Well, le it pass lah, would be my advise since you seen some photos of the kerb and you are ok with it..... its not the most important thing in the whole reno.

yup, i tihnk you miss that message that i said i need to attend AGM this sunday. i only knew it few days after we all arranged it. Cannot change date cos bro kobelala n wife changed shift with colleagues. so better not to change loh.... when my flat is ready, then will ask all of you to come loh.

RENOVATION DAY 14: TILING ALL AREA My tiles are very simple, its just both toilets wall and floor, the wall that my stove will be (not the whole kitchen) and kitchen/dining/living/all bedrooms floor tile. So for this big piece of area, i am using just 1 type of tile. This tile also the same one that i had problem with last friday (reno day 10). The 1st tile i chosen was uneven so i have to go choose again. It was sent on monday afternoon and tiler came again yesterday to lay them. I was too busy during lunch and after work that i didn't go view the progress. So today, went during lunch to see how it looks to have the floor tile being laid. Can't see much as it is mostly covered by the corrugated paper. It is a bit shiny with textured so that it will not be too slippery. I hope it will be easy to mop since it have textures.... But one thing to recommend, the tiler really have good skill.... everything was done as the best as he can!! i am happy with his work.... So, at the moment, dining, living and guest bedroom are done. Will be doing storeroom, kitchen and MBR by friday!!!
