i only see the goodness in a person.... and i believe, if you are nice to them, they will be nice to you. but then, like what you said, learnt something new everyday. i learnt that forums have unreasonable people now....

in hougang also have the same type of floor plan as yours. i think its the same batch. now, all the new flat also same floor plans..... no matter what location. so its just the batches of floorplans by hdb.

sure!! i work in a bank.... you want to come look for me? but i don't process loans nor take deposits. if you look through my pages of tblog, you would see there are at least 50 postings asking for Ah soon number so after a long time if answering that, i post the number. if you look at the date i edited my posting, it would be this year, abt 3-4 months back. and i only do that in my own tblog, not all over the place. i don't mind you giving others a chance to do rectification but to say that no one else is trustworthy or that old forumers are dubious, i think that is not right. and i stated before, i only give in my own tblog, not all over the place. what is wrong with you that you have to attack those forumers that are here for long? we didn't do anything against you and yet you say we are not trustworthy. :furious:

i think that is very generalising statement, patgoh. i am in this forum for nearly 2 years and i never badmouth any contractors nor actively promote any contractors. only when people asked me for contact in my tblog, then only i give. never purposely out to look to promote my contractor.... So what you said about forumers either from contractor side or competitors side are totally inaccurate. If you are the only one that can be trusted, then why you changed your posting?

no need to be paisey lah..... you stay so near to me.... takes you less than 5 mins to walk over. if take bank loan, then the 2nd appt have to be at least 6 weeks cos lawyer need time to work with hdb and bank. but if hdb loan, then very fast, 4 weeks is the norm provided both parties also hdb loan

Usually quotation include tiles but you have to see whether its stated up to what price range of tiles. Some quotes states only up to $3 and some $3.50. The lower then less choices you have. As for sinks, toilet accessories, hob, hood etc, usually it's not quoted. You have to buy your own but I have seen some incl them which you only can choose between 2-3 models cos its a package. If you want cheap then go for those that incl them or if you don't mind paying more for what you like, then buy your own.

Electrical are always not in first quote. If you don't have false ceilings and cove lightings then your electrical will not be too ex. Your idea any tall cabinets and island quite similar to mine. You want to drop by have a look?

Your budget of 25k definitely possible for 3 room but 5 room a bit difficult unless you don't hack or change flooring. Just be careful of those that can fit your budget to be sure no hidden items. Buy less furniture loh... Those slowly can add but reno do at one go then less troublesome in future.

Yup, my house was featured on tv in aug. I was doing quite minimal Reno but already spent slightly more than 50k on Reno alone. Didn't incl lightings and toilets stuff (toilet bowl, sink, basins, rain shower etc). Really ex loh....

Maybe those marble I was looking at was the more expensive version. My bro bought the whole stone then get factory to cut. So I know the price of doing such and totally out of my budget.

i feel my legs are longer when wearing long pants. even my colleague says so..... just yesterday she commented that seem like i lose weight.... but because i was wearing long pants. 80% of the time i wear skirts to work.... so when i wear long pants, she thought i lose weight cos my legs seem longer.
