RENOVATION DAY 30-31 : CARPENTRY Just 4 more days to go before i move in, they started carpentry work. I almost can feel myself getting very anxious if everything are not done by then. So now, what i was being told is that solid surface might only be installed on saturday. I guess that is very simple and shouldn't be too dirty. So what has been done these 2 days? I would say a lot as there are about 9 carpentry workers doing my house. Each corner have someone there.... 2 doing my WIW, 1 doing the door for the WIW, 1 doing guest bedroom wardrobe, 1 doing my shoe cabinet, 2 doing my kitchen cabinet + island and 2 doing my TV feature wall. Really like a war zone.... so what is the result of 9 people in my house? TV feature wall are not done yet so i won't show any pic for the moment.

All houses sure got something special... initially i thought mine was quite simple as well which i still think so. But everyone WOW on my toilet. hahahaha... i am sure yours will have something too.

yup, slightly better. i think sleep helps.... ok lah, abt same time as me and you started reno earlier.... i am more rush to move out mah. but your ID very good leh... must faster than mine. but as long as can finish on time, i am ok.

Of course!!! I think that's the only place I have something different from everyone else. Kitchen island, so many have. Platform bed, so many have. WIW, almost all have. Tv feature wall, all have. So what does no one else have? Glass panel toilet!! Hehe....

I thought she wanted to try something as exciting as mine. Then I will be so happy... Haha....

No leh, I dont see anyone buying as much as you. I only have a few purchases only. Nothing fantastic as yours. I also don't see much in my house until today. Later will post pic.

Usually those that come here are those that have OTP then starting to do reno. I am sure it will not affect the sales of that unit lah. But i still prefer to have rubbish chute inside the house leh. can throw more frequently instead of keeping until you feel like walking out.

i started looking for contractors/ID in december. so it have been 5 months journey. When yours are done, then you will see that yours might be shorter time than mine.

your kitchen or kitchen toilet? hahahaha.... mine toilet very simple only. just a seater, toilet bowl and a basin. nothing else... no striking colours.... other than it can look into the bedroom. hahahaha....

yup, solved the issue. i will go over have a look later on. everyday take taxi here and there... just 2 more days.

yup, first time bought aircon in my life. hahaha.... the thing is i don't use much aircon. also don't know why i buy them? haiz... for my brothers and sisters when they come over. hope they know how much i care for them. haahahha.... true lah.. just forget it so that you can enjoy your new house. or else, everyday also no point.

Imagine also all the food, smelly fish, prawns, curries etc.... and if the plastic is leaking and your front door will smells~~~

get used to it lah.... maybe can change the solid surface after a few years? shouldn't be too difficult, right?

hahaha... thanks.... i am happy with my bedroom and "thinking chair" too. quite a few things i am quite happy with in my place. i am sure there are a lot of ideas you can come up with... hehehehe... can't wait to see what you can do with your house. jia you!!!

Oh i see..... my painter told me cannot kena my purple wall cos once kena, cannot touch up a small area only. have to repaint the whole thing. so, he will paint it last....together with the rest of the touch up. the white one is ok? only the black one having problem?

33k for 4 room is quite reasonable lah and you say you have a lot of ideas...haahahaha.... good to start with low then slowly add. hahaha... congrats!!

Pack until sick. Don't know cos of dust or virus. Actually it's not that big. Not much walking space. I also bought aircon from best tech. They are ok leh. Everything done on time and no problem. Maybe I cannot test yet as no electricity. Pending electrician to come Tmr.
