You know what I did? I didn't do base for the fridge. Then I can change whatever size fridge I want in the future without worrying Abt the base.

Mine also have those small post it.... i also don't know what its for but as long as its nice in the end, i don't really care lah. hehehehe.... As for the tiles, i think you did a very good job leh. choosing very nice combination. make me feel like changing the tiles in my MBR.

I can't wait too. there are so many drawers that i shocked my contractor too. But i told him, i want 8, i don't care. then deh a bit and he says ok. hahaahaha.... doing drawers are definitely more difficult than just putting shelving. Go try the heel-defect-testing. You will love it....

Veneer are semi solid, and the pattern are quite standard, ie mostly are wood lines. They are mass produced so you only can choose colours and wood pattern. For laminated door, then you can choose anything from the tons of sample and any designs you want. ie, you can mix and match anything... so i can have red door if i wanted to. Veneer dont' have this choice. So for more choices, you need to pay more loh. hehehehe... you contacted my contractor, right? then you ask him loh....

No lah, there are more expert ppl here. i am just doing what i can... hehehehe... the door is not really very nice just that its more special than normal wooden door. heheheh.... its laminate where you can just choose whatever laminate you like.

i custom made it.... need to pay extra money to have a design i wanted.

RENOVATION DAY 31 : MAIN DOOR I wanted something special for my main door. Thinking of many designs and finally decided on 1 but my contractor says too difficult to do. So finally chosen something simple... but i still like it cos its a bit metallic shiny.... Tomorrow will have installation of my digital fingerprint lock. then my main door would be PREFECT!!!

Still got many days to go.... let me have some time to unpack and make it nice lah. hehehe.. Just 3 sections for tops and bottom, then 1 section just for long dresses. So, not that big leh.... you can come have a look lah.... then you will see its not that big.

RENOVATION DAY 31 : RETILE I went over yesterday night to check on the carpentry. Obviously i was wearing high heels.... so when i went in to walk around, i can hear some hollow sound from the tiles. So those that use fingers, hands, special tools etc to check for hollowness, the best way is to wear heels and walk round and round. Why its better? 1) You need to walk around to take photos anyway 2) No need to bend and check one by one so won't hurt your back 3) Won't hurt your fingers or knuckles 4) Definitely faster and more effective So, while walking around i found 3 tiles that have hollow sound. Today, 2 tilers came redo those tiles plus replace another tile in master toilet, as plumber drill hole wrongly. Also the tiler have to do a box up to over the piping. For these, i will take picture tomorrow.

Ya loh... i am so surprised too. i guess they have to send so many ppl just so that all my carpentry can be finished on time. So i gave the supervisor some money for them to have tea break. hopefully they will do everything nicely for me. Wow!! happy birthday in advance... can have birthday and getting keys on same day. must be double happiness... Ely, my wardrobe not as big as yours lah... my only 15ft with dressing table. yours is must bigger leh.. I think most will be done.... shouldn't be a problem!!

RENOVATION DAY 30 : PLUMBING At the same day that 9 workers are walking around to do carpentry, there are 2 workers doing my plumbing. One of the plumber looks so familar. i thought i saw him at friends78 when i first went over. hhhmm... he says its not him... oh well.... So, yesterday, they install my rain shower, hansgrohe shower and toilet bowls in both toilets. But sinks are not done yet as waiting for box up using tile so that some piping will not be seen. hehehehe....

Your table lamp are all fantastic... your steel metal art also fantastic.. your digital lock also fantastic...your sanitary stuff from only also fantastic. how can it be that yours are simple and common?? haiz.... then mine are even worse.

i thought today is 27th... hehehehe.... yes, so excited for you!! its fun to start renovation.
