I also scared of that so I choose one that is very deep so chances of splashing is less. So far very little splashing.

Haha.... I like the metaphor of helicopters and sliding effect. Well, for me when I was choosing WC, I need 3 things: 1) Comfortable to sit on 2) as close to 90 degree sliding as possible. Then less residue will be as little as possible as it's goes down the slide too fast for much 3) flushing system is easy to press, not those that I can use 1 finger only but one that is big enough for me to use at least 3 fingers. And I have budget where to fulfill all these 3 and yet affordable. Not something costing me >$500.

Projectors cannot turn from bedroom to living room. Maybe I am not familiar with projector but those I seen are not impressive although I heard rimblock's was fantastic. Will only get to see that when go over his place.

HOUSE WARMING PARTY After moving in for more than 2 weeks, finally managed to hold my house warming party today. As its a public holiday, its the best time as most of my friends are busy with church activities during weekends. So, nothing is better than public holidays. If i don't use today, then have to wait until august. hehehehe.... To prepare for house warming, my best friend and myself was busy last night. baked 4 batches of cookies, mixed nuts and cornflakes in 2 batches each. Make 2 trays of tiramisu and a small tub of durian ice cream! I would say the ice cream was the most sellable as everyone is fighting to taste it. When i took it out, the smell manage to attract a lot of my friends and all queuing to try it. hahahaha..... But everything we make, all are gone somehow.... buffet was also just nice, left just a bit more only for my dinner. So i would say, it was all very successful. What are the things my friends admire the most: 1) My photo wall - with photos by supersimon27. My friends cannot believe that it was taken by "a friend" instead of purchase from somewhere. So, supersimon27, if you are reading, i really think that you can sell your photos for some $$$ 2) My WIW - due to the size and the door to walk into the WIW. My friends wants to play hide and seek in my house. aarrgghh.... 3) My 10ft long island - managed to sit about 10 people with extra space to stand around (as there were not enough chairs). 4) Waterfall tap in common toilet - some were expecting it to be automatic so i told them, my toilet is not shopping centre public toilet, how can it be auto water tap? hahaha.... 5) Last but not least, my alkaline water dispenser. Some heard abt the goodness of drinking alkaline water and some feels the water taste sweeter. But i have to explain again and again what is this water dispenser. The rest of the photos, will wait for supersimon27 to help me take then i will post after sat. So that those that are coming, will see something nice instead of just everything else as seen as photos. Those that are not coming, you will see the pic by sat night, hopefully (providing that supersimon have time to download and send to me. That's all, folks!

RB, just for your easy reference, this is my original floor plan. Even no space, i would buy more whenever i see something i like. bad bad habit. hahaha...

Congrats in finding your new home! COV nowadays are very high, and yours at good location + quite good view so have to pay a bit more. Like what kobelala said, all resale owners paid so much COV that left little for reno. My reno also as budget as possible.

The lightings really make it very cosy!! I like them a lot... Perfect for foyer!
