dear friends, seem like a long time i didn't come online. 2 weeks to be exact.... been busy at work and also a bit sad that i didn't get the job i wanted. anyway, on a happier note, my home will be featured in My Space in Sunday Times, should be around july period. Hi gals, I am back. Was a bit sad and busy this week so didn't come online. I also have sweaty palm buy it's ok for my iPhone. Anyway I am thinking of buying another phone too. Hehe.... About the mold, I thought Borax would help? No? Of every week wipe it, doesnt solve the problem leh. I think same model of wardrobe or table still cannot say will have mold or not it's depending on the chipboard use for that batch. Maybe drier chipboard are better? And we can't see whether it's sufficiently dried inside? If use wet cloth to wipe also doesn't help cos it's damp. Headache when have molds.

if i use the space for the chairs as my WIW too, i will have 28ft WIW!! hehehehe..... but too bad i didn't do a U-shaped WIW.

I have live in many places in singapore. Yes, open concept is good it makes the whole place look much bigger than it actually is. Just take mine for example. Having everyday cooking is not the issue as i think. Smell travels anyway, whether you have a door or not and if the place is airy, then not a problem for the smell to be gone in a while. But as long as there are young children, having open concept is a big no no as you won't want them t go into the kitchen where a lot of accidents might happen. in the long run, for young couples, i think should have doors but never going to have kids, having door or not while cooking, i don't find that is an issue at all. after all, the smell of food is what makes the anticipation greater.

Well, there are windows near where the chairs are. So its not possible to have a WIW that will eat into the place of the windows. Like what Marshy says, the lay out might not be suitable for such a big big WIW. What i have is the biggest my MBR can accomodate even after hacking 2 rooms into 1. really?? hahaahha.... thanks thanks... i will be looking forward to your housewarming gift! hahaha....

But you have the space for it!! We can only dream of it, you can put it to reality! Now, that's the different!! Haha.... I like that fireflies lamp too but don't know where to put.

i also trying to find phoon huat but don't know where to find them. i am going baking classes every sat of july. Hopefully can learn something from there. must go phoon huat to see what is there that elsewhere don't have. I have been trying to find mint essence for few weeks leh.

don't have rich daddies already with good money will not be that young. They are like hdb with good view, high floor, good neighbours, near town, near mrt, near supermarket/shops and with low cov and A1 reno. hahahaha.... try to find that!

I hope you will be able to find someone good to do Reno. Not pricing only that will makes the different but whether the contractor can deliver. You read a few here some having delays and issues. So, hope you will be able to get the right one to do your home.
