I am not sure about normal Practise but I bought cakes for all my neighbors, upstairs and downstairs too, before I started my Reno. So no complains at all during Reno of leakages or noise.

I think I need to spend more time on online shopping. Or else difficult to find unique stuff like you and Ely. I also have cubic corner sink and I just use magic sponge. It works ok for me.
